No worries, I checked a few times that night but then kind of forgot about it once weekend activities picked up.

That commute sounds pretty rough. It's a drivable trip, but I wouldn't do it just any day.

So many recent wolf wins, and not even close at that. I think our collective human game is just not up to the task right now.

Interestingly, the wolves haven't placed any vote yet. I think that's not a good thing to do. Wolves often really like voting later and later as the game goes on, and it's definitely something people should be on watch for. Even if you're hoping to do a coordinated snipe play, you want to have somet...

I'm not trying to antagonize. I apologize if I offended. I sat on my critique for a day to think about it, and make sure I was reacting to the mechanics of the game, not the particular play-through we created here. One play-through of these types of games can often be quite biased. However, "ho...

Re: Card Stock - Dead Chat

In a parallel universe, the first few days could have gone like this, giving the humans a much better shot. A lot of those steps don't really advance anything, they just pass time. While they're spending these lynches on making sure "the confirmed" don't die, other humans are being picked...

Re: Card Stock - Dead Chat

The delay on lynch information hurts the humans, but also the occasional death avoidance hurts the humans. Day 6, and three lynch-related deaths have happened, sometimes killing people who weren't voted for by the village. This means the voting record is developing almost not at all. This is really,...

Since stdio is coming back to the humans, can we vote to re-jail him today? Just out of curiosity, I don't want to jail the Prince right now. We're getting behind the wolves in deaths here. You clod! If the two that confessed to that blabby excuse for a priest are what passes for royalty around here, then they should keep their mouths shut unless we're about to detain one! No lynch votes yet! Crazy. I'll go first. Best clue available is that the first wolf got to pick his buddy. So with that, it's a simple matter of matching wits with a Sicilian when detention is on the line!

FCM, quick -- what are the odds that if Aldax randomly selects two people that aren't Aldax or rekard, that both are wolves?

There are 9 players without those two (and dead RaveBomb), so 9 choose 2 is 36 pairs... 1 in 36 chance of accidentally picking both wolves? Is that how it works?

That's why I said it would happen at endgame- because we can't be mauled the day we go into detention, or the day after, there would be no maul. Who is the "we" that can't be mauled? Just rekard? But someone else gets mauled and you didn't lynch anyone useful that day. No, I'm still not g...

Re: Draw & Discard - Day 2

This, along with the alpha princess rekard is an interesting combination- since we can be pretty sure rekard is still human (and 100% sure if we detain rekard a second time), that means at endgame, we have potentially 2 unmaulable humans (the one in and detention and the one entering that day). If ...

Honestly, these detention power things should simply be day powers, and then you're fine. Like for instance the Princess's power of controlling the vote.

The fact that several of them return the player to the village is an entirely separate issue with separate balance challenges.

Re: Draw & Discard - Day 2

He was human, then the one wolf picked a wolf partner in the night phase. I don't think the wolf could reasonably pick rekard before his role was shown to be a thing that would survive detention. I'm assuming he is still human.

That's a reasonably good outcome for the first lynch.

Any role can end up being a wolf. If you're relying on that to get them lynched, they might as well be an alpha who gets a free maul every time they're voted up.

The Countess is remarkably hard to kill. Especially since roles like Guard can only target unrevealed roles.

Also, is your Priest meant to investigate roles? It says factions, but then it seems unnecessary limited to unrevealed roles.
