Night 4: Crispy

You managed to keep a wolf alive and finished off your target. What next for you crazy kids?

Well, that's one more lynch than I expected to survive!

Edit: Did we really only have meta4 (with Hellheart helpfully providing the excuse for meta4) as the only wolf in those two wagons? That's either great or awful, I'm not sure which.

Initial maul thoughts:

We should leave Rictus alone, he seems to be headed for getting himself lynched on his own.

Any ideas on who the seer might be?

On the GA front, rekard getting protected on night 2 screams "Veteran" to me, so Zark/Rave/ICB/Admetus seem like strong candidates.

Any ideas?

No real opinion on who to maul. Vacation should give me some cover from DOM, but he needs to die before I get back Monday or there's going to be a problem. If Okaros dies, lean on Visigoth for the lynch. Shouldn't have to maul him.

No real opinion, but I'll vote for RaveBomb just in case I'm not around tonight.

Thinking about the effects on voting analysis for some possible maul targets, I think I can see RaveBomb working out well. His voting record is nearly identical to mine atm, so I'd lose some possible cover/distraction later, but it would help point more of a finger towards Rictus (since Rave seems to be the prime alternative suspect to Rictus).

If Rictus isn't a contender for the lynch today I'd say go for RaveBomb. If he *is* a contender for the lynch I'd say leave him alone, as the lynch could probably fall on Rave tomorrow if Rictus flips human tonight.

Maybe ICB or Admetus as the alternative if Rictus isn't in lynch contention? Zark's catching heat at the moment so it might be worth leaving him alive to draw lynch attention. Of those two, I think I like:
Iron Clad Burrito better at the moment. But putting the decision off until later in the day is probably best.

If we assume the Hunter is protecting himself on the odd nights, he'll be looking over someone else tonight. I don't know if we benefit from mauling him specifically, but it'd be satisfying to crunch 'im for thwarting us on Night Two. Rave might be the Hunter, but I think DOM and Zark are more likely candidates.

Ionitor's voting is inconsistant with being the seer, and with any luck, he'll get himself lynched today.

I'm going to join dferr in voting on you, Okaros. I don't want to ride the Rictus Rail overly much, even if he does fall into my natural suspicion track, and that reasoning is compatible with PJ's reasoning for looking into Ionitor and Visigoth, so I want to encourage it.

Also, it would be really dumn for two wolves to vote on another vote. Maybe it'll buy some cover.

Voting for me seems semi-reasonable, spheno. A certain amount of continuing heat is to be expected, though I would point out that both neither you nor dferr voted for me yesterday when I was up for the lynch. That might register as a bit weird to some (or might not, I'm unsure how that'd be read).

Also, dammit, I keep forgetting DOM isn't a wolf. I'll go look at him as a possible maul target/seer/GA/etc....

The GA has to be someone who would expect rekard to be an early target and want to keep him around. I'm not sure how big that list is, but it points at a longer-tenured player (to me).

Yeah, that's why I'm kicking myself for forgetting about DOM. He'd absolutely be someone who'd protect rekard like that and should've been on my list.

Having looked over the vote history, I think I like DOM a lot right now. He's not drawing any attention to himself and isn't really communicating much, and having him flip human will be beneficial to us:

Day One he's part of the MEM wagon, it narrows the list of targets there and thereby nudges Rictus (and to a lesser extent, RaveBomb) to the front of suspicion there.
Day Two he's part of the Anzig wagon, which may also eventually draw attention later on in the game. Narrowing the field there will encourage hunting for wolves as well.
Day Three he's a one-off on rekard, who we know is dead.

So, lets Maul: that DastardlyOldMan

DOM
RaveBomb making a lot of sense is how you know you're past the point of no return and that death is the only escape.

Hrm.

Okaros : 5 : dferrantino, sphenodont, Admetus, Omega, 7-Zark-7
Ionitor : 4 : That PJ, Iron Clad Burrito, Visigoth, BlindSniper83
7-Zark-7 : 3 : Ionitor, DastardlyOldMan, Aldax
Rictus : 2 : meta4, Snake
Admetus : 1 : San
meta4 : 1 : RaveBomb
Ryvvn : 1 : Rictus
Snake : 1 : Ryvvn

No vote recorded (3) : jokerfish, Okaros, Simple_Simon

Ionitor will almost certainly be around to counter-snipe. If joker and/or Simon can be convinced to vote for Zark that helps, but I wonder if Ionitor's lying and looking to snipe me at EOD. :flail:

Now to see if anyone snipes, which I would have to guess is a certainty.

Blindsniper and Meta4, I think you're doing pretty well at staying under the radar. I'll be catching heat off and on, but that's by design. Hopefully it'll get you the cover you guys need.
