Day 1: The Whore

Don't worry. It's not like this hastily planned ritual will lead directly to the end of the world if you fail. It will take like 2-3 days first.

Day 1: The Whore

Thankfully, identifying Furin as The Whore incarnate was pretty easy, as was luring him our to be devoured by wolves. Disabling the vehicles and making it look like werewolves was trickier, but you are the best field agents the Facility has.

Today, you can choose from three power options.
  • Recon - You feel a little blind not knowing who the wolves are. If you choose recon, you can seer two players and receive their role tomorrow.
  • Manipulation - Time to start tweaking things the way you want. If you choose manipulation, you may choose a player to receive -1 vote and another to be so drunk they pass out in a ditch, protecting them that night but also blocking night powers.
  • Desperation - These powers will remain the same each day and are once per game. If you are desperate, you may:
    • Make a night kill.
    • Swap the archetype of two living players.
    • Lynch the person who gets the second most votes.
    • Make 25% of the players (your choice) immune to maul/lynch the next day.
    • Force the wolves to maul a member of your team instead of their target

A note on desperation powers: being so direct could have costs. People may start to figure out, on some level, what you ar edoing.

Am I reading this correct?

Right now we have 5 Desperation powers, each one can be used once. We will keep these powers through the game (until we use them, or other shenanigans). We also have two other powers that may change nightly... Right now they are Recon and Manipulation.

If that is correct, I would suggest we start with RECON, on Ionitor and Anzig. Just because their avatars are from the movie.

I am completely open to any other options. Just wanted to put this out as a default.

If I understand this correctly, our best bet is to examine this chart very carefully, and then to at least initially ignore it (save, of course the preservation of Virgins, which seems an odd goal at a fraternity party).

For discussion, what built in reasons do each of us have for a vote on any of the above? Dom & Visigoth for running away with the last game are viable candidates for some day 1 love. Visigoth in particular might be good as we won't be seen as avoiding virgins (see above).

Odds are good each faction has their own board and coordination. As such, we need to take care to avoid the "they voted together, they must be wolves" gambit. Which rings false.

An interesting desperation move would be if a virgin is drawing the lynch. We could deflower them & swap in a hard to lynch member of another team.

I second the call for recon tonight, but don't have an opinion on targets yet.

Mulling things over, I think perhaps a wolf-virgin would be the best one for us to find.

Edit: Thinking about the game mechanics a bit...

1) Since there's only 3 of us, do we believe there's no wolf in here?
2) Do we think that the archetypes know they are a virgin/jock/etc?
2a) Do the archetypes have a board?
3) In a game with 26 players, how many wolves? 7?
4) So how many wolves per archetype? Is it spread out or is it random?

If it's random, I suppose there's a slight chance one of us three is a wolf. :flail:

I fully support paranoia - it's healthy, and tends to keep you alive up until the moment it gets you killed, but you're changing the subject. Per the Big Giant Head:

An archetype is considered eliminated when half of the players in it are dead. The exception is the virgins: 4 of the 6 virgins must die for the ritual to fail.

You count as humans for the sake of parity, but you are not playing for a team victory. If the humans or wolves win before your mission is complete, you will lose and bad things happen.


Emphasis mine - Neckless, can you confirm none of us have the mange?

Maybe that wasn't the best way to phrase that question... but at the very least it seems clear that any wolf on our team would suffer a personal loss (not to mention [fingerquotes]bad things[/fingerquotes]) if they didn't play ball with us instead of their pack.

There was a fifth Archetype: The Whore. Per the standard ritual, that archetype must be eliminated before any of the others.

The only true Whore in this group happened to be Furin, who died Day 0.
