Day 6: The Greater Good

Don't worry. It's not like this hastily planned ritual will lead directly to the end of the world if you fail. It will take like 2-3 days first.

Day 6: The Greater Good

Postby necklessone » 19 Sep 2014, 19:37:13

7-Zark-7's death will not be in vain. The ritual will continue!

The Sacrifice of Athlete's should be complete. Just waiting for word from downstairs.

Visigoth is human. Aldax is the human sober escort.

Your power options may be delayed until tomorrow.

So here is my current theory: meta4 and Ryvvn are both fools.

From the movie, the fool is the one that figures it all out. So my guess is that they know more about us than the rest of the players.

More wild ass speculation: the fools have a faction seer. They seered me as facility. So their wolf shared it with the wolf board, and spheno tried to do an info dump since he was outed.

If I get lynched , we use that to lynch the hell out of Ryvvn and meta4.

Which means the seer has to die. Because if he clears fools as human it's going to be tough to lynch them.

After some time to mourn Zark, you've reviewed your options.
Today’s power choices:
  • Recon - Seer two players.
  • Rearm - Choose one archetype. One of the surviving members gains a vig kill, chosen at random.
  • Manipulate - Swap one player's vote to the player of your choice.
  • Desperation - These powers will remain the same each day and are once per game. If you are desperate, you may:
    • Make a night kill.
    • Swap the archetype of two living players.
    • Lynch the person who gets the second most votes.
    • Make 25% of the players (your choice) immune to maul/lynch the next day.
    • Force the wolves to maul a member of your team instead of their target

Without Zark, the ritual to switch archetype is off the table.

There's also news from the people downstairs. Apparently a known wolf who was massacred by the humans is not an acceptable sacrifice. You owe them another athlete.

Some thoughts.

Current votes:
Rictus x3: Ryvvn, Meta4, That PJ
That PJ x3: Admetus, ICB, Rictus
Ravebomb x1: Ionitor
jokerfish x1: San

with another 9 votes to be cast.

I'm getting some heat, and I suspect I'll stay a good target until I get lynched. So I think it's up to you to win it for us.

Going back to 7zark7's posts on Day 5. There's some good stuff in there about how the Fools have been very low-profile.

My suggestions for power usage today:

1. Lynch/Maul Immunity on 4 of these players:

Virgins: Aldax, Blindsniper, Ionitor, Ravebomb
Directors: You and Me

With ICB and Admetus (Athletes) and Snake (Scholar) delcared human, that would force the lynch to go to the Fools, and maybe the maul (still have no idea why they killed Zark). I think you are well hidden (but I thought Zark was as well). And I think Blindsniper might be a safe virgin as well.

2. Lynch second most votes. This is a bit more direct, but would be useful if I end up in front of That PJ.

3. Night Kill. I prefer to avoid this until we kill another Fool.

4. Rearm. We could give a Vig Shot to the Virgins, but not sure who would get it or who they would shoot! :)

I may vote for you, if it comes to that...

Any thought on who the wolf is?

Over in the big board thread I put my updated colored votes. Necklessone updated the initial post in the day thread, and it says there are at least 2 more wolves.

With DastardlyOldMan's blood still dripping from his claws, sphendont stopped his pursuit of the fleeing students short. Let his remaining brothers handle those brats...there's something he's been wanting to do since he got here.

So I think Ryvvn and thatPJ are good wolf candidates.

0. Day2, two humans (Anzig and ionitor) are up for lynch. It's possible the wolves just stayed out of the way, but i doubt it. Ryvvn is the only unknown left on Anzig, and would be the only wolf. Lots of unknowns on ionitor: San, thatPJ, simplesimon and ravebomb.
1. Day 3, I believe there has to be at least 1 wolf on hellheart since Okaros was in trouble. That would be Ryvvn, meta4, simplesimon.
2. Day 4, Okaros is again in trouble but none of those three unknowns voted for ionitor. Maybe didn't want to be seen defending two days in a row? So second wolf might be among thatPJ, blindsniper, and ravebomb.

Interesting. Thanks.

So, I finally watched the movie. A lot of this makes a lot more sense now. Thanks for pointing me to it.

We need a power tonight. I suggest we use the lynch/maul immunity on 4 virgins and/or you and me.

With That PJ's traction, do we want to go Desperation powers?

What did you have in mind? Lynch maul immune is a desperation power.

That's my point. Do we need to use one tonight?

I'm going to be out of pocket for the next hour starting in about 5 mins.

Sorry was eating. Let's go for immunity.

I will post a list and you can over rule if you disagree.

Immune players:
Aldax
Blindsniper
Ravebomb
Ionitor

Hope this doesn't get me killed.
