Taking out Junko on Day 1 is pretty amazing for the humans. No more universal room knowledge being given to the wolves *and* they don't have to worry about the maul-anywhere power messing up analysis. Maul in room = monster present is potentially a goldmine of information later in the game.

I thought I had already posted the powers of humans.

Anzig is the one with the 1 time maul immune power since he is Sam Winchester.

Clearasday had the vote manipulation power.

PJ has control of Cicero. PJ and Cicero both after independent. If they're both alive on day 3, he can use a seer power although not on Rictus.

San has the power to reveal the number of wolves in his room.

One time. Room will know. It's like a way to counter a bit the shapeshifter's power. Thinking about it I should have not given you both access here until I confirmed Zark or sphenodont voted. Oh well.

CAD's little fake-hints at special stuff always fascinate me. The tarot avatar is wondefully flexible like that.

Rekard, will PJ play on as Cicero or does the death of PJ put an eventual halt to the puppet?

The secondary wagon on ICB today is fascinating. Will Admetus succumb to temptation and save Ryvvn by switching his vote to ICB?

Okaros. I have a last minute thing. Can you lock threads and make a new day post? Since Ryvvn is howling, no one is changing rooms. Anzig is getting mauled and count the votes for the lynch please. Unless the unexpected happens, Ryvvn should be lynched, but peopke are lynchihg ICB sonehow hah. I'll be checking by phone for the small stuff.

Rekard: Day threads created in all the forums that have people. Ryvnn and Anzig have been rendered dead (including removing them from their respective rooms).

You'll need to inform the wolves as to which room they can maul in (I have no idea) and you'll also need to deal with who gets penalty votes in the day thread. Not sure what the status of the rooms is as far as people getting voted out today, so I've left that unmentioned for now.

Parsing up the seer for Admetus now, then updating the Players-in-Room posts. - Edit: Done.

Also, I didn't role-reveal Anzig since you didn't do that for PJ.

I have to admit I'm disappointed to now discover that, while HH and mask were killed together, PJ and mask get to operate independently and Cicero is able to survive without PJ.

Rekard, I realize you've been busy and this is a heck of a game to juggle, and I really appreciate you running it, but I must say the scattered rules made things a tad difficult; we had to ask a lot of questions as wolves, though I commend your fairly rapid responses on them.

Please don't think me completely sour by my complaints though, I did still have fun playing; thanks for the game!

Sorry, one other critique: I kinda feel about my power in this game the way I felt about my poison power in twdog's map game; given the manner in which the power is activated and what is revealed to the players, the wolf howl seems practically useless outside of a death rattle like I just did. I don't think it good if any wolf special feels the liability outweighs the actual power in a general use case.

You sense Van Helsing being a very modern monster hunter. So modern that he brought his own helper robot to the arena which he controls. Hmmm. You can't get the name but it's a very unique individual among you.

He didn't mean someone among the wolves? That would be insane.

I think this matter should be cleared up for the wolves in some manner because, while I'm sure unintentional, that wording was absolutely misleading and caused us to use Lucifer's power where we otherwise would not have. It implies the character (Helsing) not the player (PJ) controls the robot, so with Helsing dead and Cicero still ticking I do feel that has been unfair to the wolves. (I'd feel the same even if I wasn't one of them.)

Wel, I didn't expect a wolf to die in Night 1 or for humans to be lucky on seer aim and Hyde aim.

The robot had the seer power.

But Nyways, I'm thinking about a couple things since we need to make the game faster and finish before Christmas Eve.

rekard, thanks for taking the time to run the game... Just a normal wolf game is a ton of work, and this one has a bazillion things going on behind the scenes.

Sorry for not being more involved, but it was a combination of bad timing (holidays are starting up) and lack of motivation about my role. I think Jekyll/Hyde is a really interesting concept but it needs a bit of tweaking (or maybe have the role be volunteer only).

Interested to see how this all ends.

I knew logic could work against the wolves, hence the powers I implemented. But losing Junko on Night 1 kinda messed things up.

Although I shouldn't be surprised wolves died a bit quickly. The structure of the game favors a wolf lynch which is why the wolves have these powers to offset the logic. I should have considered the possibly of a wolf dying on Night 1. In fact, three of the wolves are designed to be useful when they die either to disrupt analysis or give certain benefits. But Junko was not one of those. Losing her on N1 was the worst case scenario for the wolves.

Well, he could make it happen with Rave and Blindsniper voting along with him. But I think that's a bit unlikely given that he's pointing the finger and screaming "J'accuse!" at Rave atm. ;)

rekard, in the event of a vig-shot activation without a majority vote will you weight the odds evenly across all targets or will you weight the odds based on the votes received?
i.e. If ICB and Blindsniper vote to vig Wasabi and Rave votes to vig ICB, is that a 50/50 flip or a 2/3 chance of Wasabi vs 1/3 for ICB?

San is using his power to reveal the number of wolves in his room today.

It's like the humans have been doing the perfect steps this game. Lynch Junko on day 1. Seer a wolf. Lynch the wolf doctor. Lynch the shapeshifter AND pointing to kill his successor.

If it makes you feel better, I had similar frustrations from the human side of the game. Rule inconsistencies/confusion were problematic, and I'm a bit bitter about the humans being punished for doing well (two mauls? Ugh).

Anyway, pleased that we've been mostly on target, and it was still fun. Troubled by all the non-votes (including mine) and I think the puzzle was just a bit too difficult this time around. I got lost. Thank god for CAD.
