Two hundred and fifty years ago....

[Fade to black, then additional title card.]
Plus a few months....

[Fade to black, then montage of humble colonial villagers doing colonial type things.]
Voice Over: On the wooded shores of the deep lake the natives named Wolvesyleetya there is a small town. The people there are quiest, humble, and diligent. They spend their days growing their crops, feeding their livestock, and harvesting lumber from the vast and dark forests.

[Longer shot of entire village sitting in church while the pastor gesticulates wildly]
V.O.: Their faith is strong and they know their God will protect them from the dangers of the New World he led their forefathers to.

[Full moon over the lake. A loon cries.]
V.O.: That faith is about to be tested.

[Quicker cuts. A man tied to a stake surrounded by villagers with torches. Someone running in the night. Children huddled beneath a bed by candlight. What appears to be blood dripping down someone's torso. An unearthed grave. More running in the night. Fade to black, and then back on the sermon from earlier.]

Pastor: This is another test! We shall be as Job and we shall endure in the name of our Lord.

[Fade to black as what sounds like a wolf howls.]

This game is best described as vanilla-ish. There will be an expanded role list and at least one secret twist. I will guarantee the following.
  • No conversions.
  • No secret factions or unaligned players.
  • Standard victory conditions (defeat the enemy team/reach parity with humans).

The human team will have a vigilante and a guardian angel. The following roles may or may not be in the game; roles without a team assigned could be on either team.
  • Seer (always Human)
  • Additional vigilantes
  • Lovers
  • Jailer (nightly roleblock & protection)
  • Miller (Human who seers as an enemy)
  • Minor vote manipulations (+1 on target, -1 on self at most)

Starting on Day 3, information will be provided on what roles are not present.
Standard 24 hour days with a 9pm Eastern end of day because I'm old and cranky. There will be no PMs.

Additional Role Information

All special players received a PM entitled "A funny thing happened last night" early in Day 2 describing their power. The following specials are/were in play:
Human Seer
Human Miller
Human GA
2x Lovers (Human or Wolf)
?x Vigilante (Human or Wolf)
?x Liar (Human or Wolf, vote manipulation)
