Night 4: Furin = "Seer"

Changing my vote to Smirker. I'm still yet to be a me to do much analysis because of last week's shenanigans irl, but that finished yesterday. I might be able to post a bit more now.

Omega

I agree with everyone else’s suspicions about him, and this rekard vote is going nowhere. I don't think this is the day to be doing what are effectively throw away singleton votes. Smirker looks a bit wolfy to me, but Omega looks more wolfy to me.

Omega - 5 - Ionitor, Okaros, FurinMirado, Rictus, twdog
Smirker - 4 - Iron Clad Burrito, leiden, Ozymandias, stigmata
RaveBomb - 3 - Smirker, Visigoth, Aldax
Griffypoo - 2 - rekard, Nitestorm
Admetus - 1 - San
blindsniper83 - 1 - Griffypoo

After reviewing Rictus's post, I believe it was a vote. I've reached out to him for clarity.

No vote recorded (6) : Admetus, blindsniper83, Omega, RaveBomb, redead, sphenodont

I didn't know we were counting rictus.

That said, I'm not changing my vote because I still feel omega is wolfy

I'll take TLDR for 100 please.

What is the RaveBomb vote?

Who is smirker for the tie?
If our team loses, it's going to be entirely your fault.-rekard
If you still end up losing after this, it's totally not your fault.-Hellheart

Yes, it was my vote. I forgot bolding/coloring, fixed now in the original post. Omega for the record.

-----------

I'd ask the Jailer to protect me tonight. If I'm a wolf, no loss. But if I'm a human, there's no way the wolves would let a Seer / Networker live. More info tomorrow.
Charming, to the last.

I have been spending some time looking at the vote histories from days 2-3 to try to find some suspicious difference between a day when our votes resulted in a human lynch, and day 4 when dferrantino got caught.

First, I combed through the retractions to look for people backing off a candidate when it got hot. That would mean a different kind of retraction than, say ICB's vote to tie Mortus into the lead and then later to push Ravebomb ahead. Those were both offensive moves, not defensive ones. The only case of that is Rekard's retraction from dferrantino and, for bonus credit, the vote on Ozymandias in the end. But I promised myself I would not get stuck on Rekard just for today, so I kept looking.

Next I'm looking for a person who got involved in defending dferrantino by voting for Ozy when they'd been on the sidelines before.

Smirker - Ryvvn wagon day 3, Rave wagon day 2
Nitestorm - Rave wagon day 3, Mortus wagon day 2
dferrantino - dead wolf
RaveBomb - Ryvvn wagon day 3, Mortus wagon day 2
Iron Clad Burrito - FurinMirado wagon day 3, RaveBomb wagon day 2
rekard - Ionitor solo day 3, Sphenodont solo day 2

Shit, Rekard again. I said I wasn't voting for him.

So, this post sat on my notepad for hours today. I wrestled with it a bit. I wanted my vote to matter, but focusing on the vote leaders didn't get me very far. I've voted for Omega before, but my reasoning was from a single Day 1 vote, and it's kind of stale by now. And I just now picked up a warning from Necklessone to "Please cast a vote." So I guess I have to go with what I have right now, which is Rekard. I guess if I want the vote to matter more, I should cast it earlier in the day when more people can talk about whether it's right or wrong.

Drumroll please:

Night 4: Ozymandias - No Dossier (Role-blocked, Jailed, or Ozy was targeted by Jailor)

I'm sorely tempted to go after Ozy again tonight.

Switching to Omega based on his votes after dferrantino was endagered, but I stilk believe Griff tried too hard to sound like a human, based on his post of day 4 about the yes/no vote.

And Admetus, I didn't solo vote on sphenodont on day 2. I did the third vote on dferrantino on Day 2. (Before people retracted). Seems you're looking for an excuse to vote for me, because it was kind of weak. Rictus sounded better grounded when he was exposing his arguments about me.

I'd say I was overwhelmed with the importance of holding this until late, but I'd be lying. I'm barely whelmed by this, AT MOST.

Between Smirker and Omega, I'm more suspicious of Omega, so no shenanigans from me. Unless I decide to post spam just to bug any snipers.

This is a part where I doubt. I don't believe strongly on Smirker being wolfy, but Rave or Omega are more wolfy for me. It woukd be ideal to know Rave's allegiance, because it woukd help clear views on Omega, but I'm not sure about the cost of it, if Rave turns out to be actually a human.

OOC: Sorry for the lateness yet again. No time for RP, and hardly time for reading the boards. I'm pretty sure that anyone voting for rekard is barking up the wrong tree, but I'm not absolutely certain. I'll stick with my previous vote for Smirker. Let me see what info I feel I can dump before EOD, but I need to be sure to vote first.

RaveBomb making a lot of sense is how you know you're past the point of no return and that death is the only escape.

Admetus, you seem to care more about whether you're right about rekard then about what the right choice is between Omega and Smirker.

That's either incredibly selfish-- or incredibly Wolfish.

You sat out yesterday's battle too. Time to get off the bench and into the game!

I'm kind of more interested in where the vote ended, since that's where it counts. It ended alone.

I really wasn't trying to find an excuse to vote on you. I was trying to find an excuse not to vote on you. Your name just kept coming up over and over. And I didn't have all day to work on this to find another person. Just the hours I'd already spent on it.

This is fine. If you want me on the record between the vote leaders, I've got a slight preference towards Omega. I think we're choosing between humans, though. I'll just lead off tomorrow with my vote for Rekard.
