Day 7: The Hammer of God

In a landslide decision, the townspeople elected to remove two from their midst. Of course, it was a given at this point, as the town psychic, Omega, had already pegged Mister E. Meat and Clearasday as werewolves and they were immediately locked in the pillory to await judgment.

Judgment came swiftly. Given yesterday's antics, they decided to take the easy way out and chopped their heads clean off.

The town slept more easily last night, knowing that two werewolves were dead. Unfortunately, the pack had it in mind to take revenge. In the morning, San and Visigoth were found in the town square...mostly.

Mister E. Meat - Wolf - Lynched
Clearasday - Wolf - Lynched
San - Human - Mauled
Visigoth - Human - Mauled

As the three remaining townsfolk arrived in the square for their requisite Mexican standoff, the clouds parted and a light shone down from above. The light got brighter and brighter, until all were blinded. When they recovered their sight, all Gungnir888 and Blindsniper83 saw was the silhouette of a wolf in a smoldering crater where sphenodont was standing.

The town was finally safe.

sphenodont - Wolf - Wrath of God

Thanks for the game, dfer!!

Gungnir888, I hope you enjoyed yourself and will continue to join our wolf hunting endeavors.

And Okaros, fantastic RP man. Well played response to my claim.

I can't think of another time where a counter-claim actually worked in the wolf's favor.

Or any other time the Seer nailed wolves on day 1-3. Holy shit, dude.

Good game well played humans, and hell Omega you are never allowed to be a seer again. Give us a chance next time!

Yeah. I was hoping sphen could save the day for us. Oh well...

It was still a good time.

I'm curious to know if Sphen had a chance had he not been WOGed. Gugnir and Blind, any thoughts?

A+++, will wolf again.

I'm sorry we didn't get to play out the last day. Without some serious back and forth, it would have been a coin toss vote for me. After my massive misplay on The Day of the Seer, I'm glad the humans pulled it off, divine intervention or no. Thanks for the invite!

Sphen voted with me to save Okaros, so would have been on my suspect list. Blind has been kind of flying below the radar most of the game, so honestly, I would have been heavily swayed by what we posted during the standoff.

With my voting history, I also suspect I'd be defending myself from accusations. I was sort of hoping to get mauled in the prior round to watch this play out.

After San Sphen was next on my list, but it would have been down to what people said to me, as new comers are easily swayed on last day by some of the more veteran wolves
