Day 8. The End

San, dferrantino and Rictus had made their decision.
"Very well." The Angel turned to Rictus and walked to him.

"Please no. I ...." Rictus said with disappointment.
"It will be all ok. You'll be with everyone else shortly". And then the Angel touched his forehead. Rictus dropped dead in that instant.

The white suited Angel talked then to San and dferrantino.
"Congratulations. You survived the massacre. The Apartment is very pleased with you all. So how can we help you?"

-----------

Dferrantino finally got what a police woman deserved. No more had she to resist the mockery of the other cops. Yeah, she might have played dirty to get there, but who hasn't? Suddenly every cop started to appreciate the talent and raw attitude to get things done. In a few months, there was a promotion to sergeant. Then to Lieutenant. Then to Captain. Some FBI agents tried to sabotage everything, but there would be no stop. The ascension would keep coming. But dferrantino wonndered. The future commander had killed innocents, like Admetus to get there. Committed a cardinal sin against what all cops stand for. Was it worth it? ........
Hell yeah. The Apartment punishes greatly, but the rewards are equally proportional. Dferrantino might be a crooked soul, but it was at least a happy soul.

----------------

San had a simple wish. The perfect camera. The tool with which he could use his skills to take the best pictures. No need to deal with defective lenses, batteries or maintenance. He could dedicate himself to perfect his art. Through his career he did all kinds of photos and montages. Some beautiful, others warming, and some scandalous. But with perfection, comes boredom. There was so much to capture in his camera, not just the beauty but the raw reality of life. Death was as beautiful as life. Things that would have disgusted him in the past, he now appreciated them for the strenght of a picture. No one would understand, but he didn't care. This was what he always wanted. The Apartment was glad with this. San received a letter "Would you like to take pictures of the next group in the Apartment?" San was ecstatic.

Great game! I'm pretty amazed at how balanced this was despite all the crazy powers flying around.

Thanks for the game rekard! I'm sorry for missing two votes but work turned hectic at the last second just before deployment

I feel flattered that someone says this as I always try to make things balanced. Also because the rule set was sort of improvised since the original one was too tough to apply to 13 players.

At the same time several people had night kills and we know everyone loves being a vigilante.
