Well shit.

Sorry Blindsniper. I was busy Friday night and was considering using my GA on you. It would've spent, but you should've picked it up to help save the seer. I hinted at that in the thread but I don't think it gave me away.

I also forgot to use my power switch that night. Might've helped us. Oh well.

Not surprised I died with Ryvvn as the psycho kill. Unfortunately that canceled my GA so we lost the seer too. :x

Yep, pretty brutal start to the game. I had Rictus up next for seering, and twdog's voting pattern looked pretty suspicious. I'm feeling good about the group taking a hard look at both of them.

Excellent. Looks like the wolves believe he may have grabbed twdog's seer power, and aren't taking a hard look at San for the day. Did he get the Rictus results from me, or did the power just activate today?

Just today.

He is role seering twdog and power seering Ryvvn. I think for balance purposes I'll tell San the copy thing is a one use.

Ryvvn's power is vig shot every night. When he loses a life or power seered, what will it show? Anything other than a single vig shot pretty much damns him for the game (except in a LOL scenario).

The psychopath always had low chances of winning to a degree. Power seers will see his power. A lynch will reveal just a shot.

Crap. Sorry guys, I really thought I had sent in my request to shoot Rictus, but there's no message there. I just got home and saw Rekard's message about "did you intend to shoot" and I think that was after deadline even. I replied yes before reading any of the forums, but if I were GM I wouldn't allow it, of course.

Missed chance!

Ok. So now it's lynch or lose.

San seered twdog, so he knows he is a wolf.

He also seered Ryvvn so he knows he is the psychopath.

Rictus can confirm Ryvvn is the psychopath.

Ryvvn wins in one day.
Wolves win in one day.
But humans can also win.

The thing is, what will the people decide? Will the wolves try to extend one more day? Will the psychopath be able to go ahead? It's difficult to say what's the way to win since the decisions are so tight. If the humans go to kill Ryvvn, the wolves might betray the humans to win. Or betray them so they lose and the humans burn too. Hmmm.

Can the humans win?

They need to take out both Ryvvn (2 lives) and either Rictus (1 life) or twdog (2 lives). How many vig shots are remaining on the human side? Best strategy would be to coordinate two shots on Ryvvn and have the lynch go to Rictus.

EDIT: and dferr came to the same conclusion.

Pretty sure DOM has a vig shot, because I don't see a note of him having taken it.

Rictus should be a pretty easy shot/lynch, I'd hope, but maybe not, from the discussion so far. He claimed third seer, after two seers are already marked human, and that wasn't borne out by his role reveal. It should be pretty clear, right?

I'm definitely struggling to understand why there was a landslide on him yesterday, the role reveal counters his statement, and everyone is waffling today.

Can the wolves win with Ryvvn?

The way I see it, he wins no matter what, either alone or with the wolves.

If Ryvvn is lynched, blocked by twdog, and shot by DOM, he still has one unblocked shot, which, brings him into the last 4 players at the same moment the wolves reach parity IF he doesn't shoot Rictus.

If anyone else is lynched, DOM doesn't shoot him, twdog doesn't block him, or Ryvvn shoots Rictus, Ryvvn wins alone.

I don't think the humans can win in any circumstance. I think the only vig shot they have left is DOM.

Not sure what you mean about an unblocked shot. If twdog role blocks him, he doesn't night kill. He used his vigilante shot on sphenodont, but that wouldn't matter. If he's lynched and mauled, he's out, and then DOM can shoot Rictus to avoid parity.

DOM is shooting twdog.

I was feeling bad for the humans for a moment, when I remembered then that the humans vigged another human, one forgot to shoot and another got WOG. So well, chances were there.

Oh crap.

I just realized. By the lack of trust of twdog on Ryvvn, they sealed their fate!
Ryvvn will be the only death, which leaves the count as 3 humans vs 2 wolves. If twdog hadn't blocked Ryvvn they would have won already. I don't know why I was thinking the wolves were winning.

So yeah. This will go for two more days.

I thought for sure Ryvvn would have attempted to shoot Rictus, in which case the wolves would have just been delaying the humans' win...
But yeah, if Ryvvn had anybody else in mind to shoot, we would've won tonight by allowing him to do that.

"Wait wait wait!"

The kid says.
"Something here is unfair! We have so few people now. I'm going to make this interesting"
The kid runs and kicks dferrantino in the unmentionables.

Everyone is on equal grounding now with standard lives. Take this day(s) as normal lynch/maul days.

Wasn't Dfer already shived earlier for forgetting to vote?

So....you just killed him!

Technically that means the wolves won!

Amiright?

So, in hindsight, I should have just copped to being psycho as soon as San revealed instead of trying to defend against it, and then I should have offered twdog my shot immediately, and told the humans that if they attempted to block vote me I'd follow through on my shot in an effort to give the wolves the win.

I also don't get why twdog power blocked me instead of DOM, even if he didn't trust me, DOM is always the better option there since DOM has a shot, is an outed human, and has an outed wolf target. Even if I had lied about my target, they still would have blocked DOM's shot, which was absolutely going to kill a wolf.

Though, I guess the worry was, if I was lying about my target, I was more likely to shoot Rictus than DOM would have, and to be honest, I was just about to submit a PM to shoot Rictus when I decided I'd rather openly give the game to the wolves (mostly cause I like twdog ;).

twdog had already blocked DOM's shot on Night 4. So he couldn't block DOM again.

The role said you can't block one player more than one time. Otherwise it just becomes detrimental to the game overall.

I publicly stated day five that I used DOM's vig gift to shoot sphenodont night four, I don't know why seemingly everyone overlooked that and assumed I had two kills for night five.

Rictus is the one that confirmed dferrantino (on Day 4), which makes this whole thing very interesting:

Rictus wrote:Since I'm getting traction I will reveal: I am a seer.

N1: didn't use.
N2: dferrantino is a human vig.
N3: Targeted DOM, received "Rictus is a seer".

I really think that was a slip on Rictus' part (as well as not using your seer power on Night 1).

I think the fact you only listed the GA as having a cover power revealed on first death in the official rules but the possibility (and actual reality of the situation) that Rictus is a seer with a cover power revealed on first death (which was not stated in the rules) is leaving dferr wondering what other things might be hidden.

This whole thing is predicated on the target swapper having messed with Gungnir's visions, rekard. That's what dfer's worried about.

That said, there are plenty of inconsistencies with Rictus's posts that should have had him killed long ago.

I don't see where he acknowledges I info dumped as a seer and named San human. I may make some odd plays, but info dumping a lie, counting on the GA to save me so I could come back the next day and for really real reveal, is probably not something I'd do. :shake:

Is he basing his confirmed human statement on his role PM?

Again, I'm just guessing what he's thinking, so I may be entirely up the wrong tree. But what I meant was, he thinks Gungnir requested "Seer San" and Jrsthethird requested "Swap [wolf] San and <random human>" and you replied to Gungnir "Human." And that's it, not "<random human> is human," just "human."

Don't feel bad, I distrust everyone! Actually, I assumed that since the wolves were the ones that proposed the truce with the humans to lynched you that you'd want to see the wolves lose. I do regret that now, of course, but surly you can see why I was wary of accepting something from the guy I just screwed over.

Hindsight is 20/20...don't worry, twdog. I wouldn't have trusted Ryvvn either.
"Who do you want me to kill tonight"????
Yeah, right buddy.
I fully expected Ryvvn to attempt to take anyone and everyone possible down with him.

Yeah, that's exactly it. Most of the time, swap powers don't give you any indication that they swapped.

I was also basically ignoring everything Rictus said wrt his being a seer, so as far as I was concerned his mention of being retargeted was just misdirection.
