Oh, mauling a neutral satisfies the conditional part.

But that means that there were 3 secret faction players yesterday. How did the GM miss that lynch-or-lose scenario?

I don't know. If we're still talking possible conversions, perhaps the conversion was due that night, and the GM forgot the player count would go down at the same time as the secret faction went up?

Agreed on this point. Scenarios for 1w, 2n, 2h:

[+] Textpad Go
1 wolf
2 neutrals
2 humans

lynch human
maul human
1 wolf, 2 neutrals
Neutrals win

lynch human
maul neutral
1, 1, 1 - not parity

lynch human
GA block
1 wolf, 1 neutral, 2 human - not parity

lynch wolf
no maul
2 neutral, 2 human - parity

lynch neutral
maul human
1 wolf, 1 neutral, 1 human - not parity

lynch neutral
maul neutral
1 wolf, 2 human - not parity

Lynching wolf means no maul which means 2 humans + 2 neutrals = parity. Need to lynch neutral. If there's only 1 neutral, though, then that means conversion (only way to hit parity): have to lynch the neutral (or hope the maul/conversion/GA block ~something, assuming the GA's not been converted already).

Wait, wait. I'm getting sidetracked.

There is AT LEAST ONE neutral. The neutrals comprise the parity threat, regardless of their current numbers. Find and kill a neutral.

Who's a/the neutral?

---

Rictus brought this up in the first place, so if he's a neutral so is DOM. Otherwise Rictus just votes to lynch DOM.

I've already made my case for not being a neutral.

DOM is statistically most likely to be a neutral, but I'm tone reading him as really human in the past couple of hours. Like where the hell was this days ago?

Admetus is going the opposite direction. Feels like it's been that way since yesterday. It's been gnawing at me.

Second, Hellheart, you seem pretty pinned on one wolf one secret faction. I was assuming one wolf two secret faction. What did I miss?

You'r second point is interesting. If there are two neutrals working together for parity or a personal win, why haven't they pushed to just lynch JRs and they can go win?

Perhaps it is one human hunting another for a personal win condition?

Converted JRS? Three wolves, keeping third wolf alive keeps JRS alive? We talked about that already, going in circles.

The GM says this:

To put one of your worries to rest, the warnings yesterday and today have been correct. They were not a mistake.

I assure you, it's not anything I'm doing. I'm actually quite astounded that we're not already locked in on lynching DOM. I have no idea what Rictus is doing on JRS, especially.

I tell you this, if DOM's not a special faction, I'll eat my hat.

(edited to reduce pronoun confusion)

I'm not even going to be mad if DOM is a neutral here. If he can pull off something this human as a secret faction, more power to him.

Admetus: that's the problem. What have you been doing? Where's the hunting? Where's your own work, rather than mechanics clarification and parroting? Where's the frantic "oh crap what's going on" post that I'd expect from any human?

Honestly I thought I already put all my stuff on the table. All this extra scenario stuff isn't viable. All I hear is a lot of "what if xyz? oh it can't work that way."

I think we end up lynching Admetus, then Hellheart gets mauled which meets some win condition for a neutral side. They leave and then last human gets eaten by JRs in the morning.

Edit: I'd rather lose to a 3rd faction than lose to the wolves
Charming, to the last.

Enjoy your loss... I didn't make my vote switch in time. =/

Hellheart, you missed an obvious scenario. And I couldn't point it out to you. That's why.

#Vote for: JRSthethird
in case it's an allowed vote since thread open.

The GM says this:

Going to go lock myself in a room with Ryvvn for an hour for a belated birthday present (escape room). I will write up the next day after that.
