Yessss.

It is a good day for someone else to die! I had considered Gowron when I was picking avatars. Too bad I didn't go with it!

Anyone want the leader's council job? I think I might draw too much heat after last game. Lotta people probably owe me a vig.

Gowron to K'Ehleyr in "Reunion"

"K'mpec was also stubborn. He, too, refused to listen. Now... he is gone. You need not make the same mistake."

How good is that for a TWG quote? ;)

Can I assume it's safe to talk about our abilities in here?

As for our maul ability, the sooner the better right? Should we randomly pick someone for night 1?

And this leader position? Does this have benefits and/or requirements? Is it just RP?

It would be dishonorable to restrict us from regaling each other with tales of our prowess! (I'm sure we can discuss abilities. In past Everyone's Special games, I've started an 'info dump' thread as a place to collect what we've learned about the other teams and/or players. Anyone object to doing that? Also, let's post our identities and abilities in the Klingon Faction Information thread for posterity?)

I'm guessing that Chancellor K'mpec is a mask account, since our newest forum member is Jaresh-Inyo of the Federation. I think that the account should go to the player most likely to draw violent attention from the other teams. I'm guessing that will be Admetus or FurinMirado.

If I am named leader I will have plenty of time to post and will do my best to research entertaining Klingon phrases to put in my posts. It has been quite some time since I watched Star Trek, I'll admit.

Seeing Wasabi's post restriction, we should be on the lookout for other people that have to tip their roles in the day thread. And apparently I'm encouraged to be actively hunting females.

There are 5 of us, 24 in the game, which seems like it's aimed at roughly 5 factions. I've never played Omega's games before, but I expect that there's probably some kind of infiltrator faction or conversion mechanic. Not that we can do anything about it right now, but I figure it should probably be listed among the assumptions. ;)

We might as well get the night killing started immediately. Here's the list of people I'd prefer to avoid on the first round:
necklessone - oh wait he's not playing
Anzig - also not playing
Visigoth
RaveBomb
rekard
Stigmata
Ozymandias
Wasabi - good thing, eh?

First batch from last game, Wasabi from the Wolfing Game... though I don't know that many people look back past one game.

Was it stated that there would be no Borg? If so, I think it's safe to say there are no conversions going on.

It's possible we could have some Sociopaths. Could that be the "worthy" that Q is referring to in his opening post?

Too many variables to really guess at Teams at this point. When I have time I'll start evaluating the different interactions. FWIW, I think it's safe to say no one would put the first vote on a team mate early in the Day. Using that I can start working on a list if people that are on different teams.

And no general mention of the Borg. Just 7of9.

Good to know about the PM quote button. That will be useful.

So we might have Borg which would mean conversion. Even more variables. I guess we'll have to wait until Q gives us some hints.

Ok, So looking at where we stand so far, I'm really hoping Clearasday has some seering capabilities. It's possible that GriffyPoo will earn seering power through survival, or that we've been handicapped by virtue of having an extra player on the team (24 players total, as previously mentioned). No seering would be super harsh, IMO, since we'd be totally reactive and fighting blind. It also occurs to me that each team might get their seer through the mask account. There'd have to be some special rules in place for that, though.

I'm guessing there are 4 factions: Klingons, Romulans, Federation, and... ? That would leave 4 'sociopath' players. twdog is playing, and I love beating an old horse, so we need to mention toe Borg to him at every opportunity, whether they're in or not.

I was kind of expecting Ferengi. Cardassian might be reasonable, though the "no Dominion" thing makes them somewhat less important. There's Orion, also. And tons of factions that if you felt like it, you could probably make a group out of, like Vulcans.

Just babbling. It's not that important yet.

On the Emperor's account, are we okay with FurinMirado? I'm a little concerned that if FurinMirado is killed, we might lose access to the mask account (like the King in previous games, it wasn't a fully separate player). That would maybe suggest that Wasabi should take it?

Or ClearAsDay! Oh, I hadn't thought of that. Nobody would kill him on his first game back in a while.

I'm pushing Stigmata up into a threeway tie with Ozy and San if my math is correct. That should help keep one of our people out of the lynch.

So far, every vote has put someone into danger. At this point I think we can assume no one has voted for anyone on their own team. It's too dangerous to attempt a misdirection ploy. If this keeps up, after a few deaths we'll have pegged most of the groups.

Go on FurinMirado for Chancellor K'mpec.

Maul on dferrantino, as an alternate possibility. I'm not sure I want to prune out Meta4 early if he's going to be a generally inactive player.

I was foolish for simply posting what random.org told me to at the time. If I was going to vote for a person on Day 1 that had not yet voted, I could have waited until later. Or just picked among the ones that had spoken already.

Oh well, I can still defensively swap.

Worse comes to worst, he convinces everyone and they vote me out early. In that case, use me as a sacrifice to gain credibility or something. That's what I get for playing like I would as a human before realizing there might actually be someone I need to protect. Normally I just go straight in and vote on someone random on Day 1. I really hope it doesn't spiral down and implicate Admetus as well. If that does happen, I'm sorry in advance, guys.
