So we have spies. I don't know if you're a spy or not, but I do know the Cardassians are going to win this before long. Anything you can do to assist taking them down would be greatly appreciated.

Preliminary vote to retracted was maul - DastardlyOldMan tonight. I'm open to discussion, but I want to make sure we don't accidentally miss another maul.

CAD who did you decide to target tonight? And the result?

Edit1: changed "Temporary" to "Preliminary" to avoid confusion

Hey Ozy, did it ever occur to you that only a quarter of what most of us say in here actually has any value whatsoever? For me, I'm three parts powerless and one part genuine. Which means that every third part of a rekard is stupid, but the fourth part wins a game?

Dferrantino, there are two enemy spies left and they are working for the other teams. They are our enemies.

Check the great list of team restrictions based on dangerous votes. Post the very first (a post you might be very familiar with Dferrantino) has the names of all of the suspects left to be spies. There are only 5 possible people those spies could still be.

The 6th name down of the first post, the name that is not on a team with ozy or rekard, is a potential spy.
And the name above him.
And the name above him.
And the second from last name, below AVS in the list.

And maybe the Old Man, although the council says it is not him.
So depending on whether we trust the council or not, the last 2 spies have only 4 or 5 hiding places left to be.

CAD and Okaros, I have long wanted to tell you both that I am a spy. I do not have a seperate win condition. Killing the other spies gives me extra powers though.

I got an anonymous PM from someone claiming to know a Sociopath. They wanted me to agree to ally with them and they'd release the name. I told them, release the name and I may ally with you. No response from them yet.

Also, the Cardassian and Romulan Council members are saying that Hellheart is a Sociopath. So I'm putting him on my list as a Sociopath.

We're safe but knowing our enemies this stupid tactic likely won't aid us. Okaros, work towards PMing Cardassians on a mutually beneficial non aggression treaty. Spy on any Romulan targets that appear suspicious. I and Blindsniper hopefully shall stay in cover.

Refer any unknown powers to the other thread. This shall keep the power list pretty ordered. As to the evil tribble that we are hunting still, it escaped from me yesterday. For now I shall stay on top of it. Don't hunt it yourself. Use my power for any actual contact with real Tribbles. Their strange names are of course in high demand on this tribble hunting crazed forum.

I'm still working out who is best to vote for. Anyway,

Just got back info from Night 6 and I put it up in the other thread. It strongly suggests that out of the 4 candidates yesterday up for lynch, two of them were fed. Which means Dferrantino is very likely Fed.

I believe the Fed spy to be Dferrantino. Tribble searching him tonight.

I'd say Mortus is very likely to be a Cardassian, whereas DOM is currently 50% Card, 50% Rom in my book. I don't mind which we target though.

Re: Night 7

by FurinMirado
DOM just claimed Romulan in the Day thread. So I'm going to retract my initial vote and say we choose retracted - Visigoth

Given what we know I think it is highly likely that he's a Cardassian which should still be our top priority, yes?

Re: Night 7

Posted: 16 Oct 2013, 14:49:27
by Clearasday
I agree on Cardassian being high priority, I do not agree on Visigoth being one. Explain your reasoning.

Day 3
Rictus (6) DastardlyOldMan, Hellheart, Mister E. Meat, Blindsniper83, griffypoo, Mortus
Visigoth (5) Ozymandias, twdog, sphenodont, Wasabi, rekard
Clearasday (4) AugenVonSauron, stigmata, Rictus, San
Ozymandias (4) FurinMirado, Visigoth, Okaros, dferrantino
Sphenodont (2) Penalty x2
AugenVonSauron (1) Clearasday
Mister E. Meat (1) Admetus

That means on Day 3, with Rictus, a Federation in the lead, and 3 of his teammates to vote, Dferrantino, San and Rictus himself, only one of the four of them voted for visigoth, even though if he was a Cardassian, this would have ensured Rictus' safety.

Also Visigoth did not vote for Rictus.

And also, what did they mean on Night 4 by this then?

Author Alpha wrote:No one visited us again. Guess we're not very popular. :(

Also wondering a bit if Rictus was a good trade or not. His every other day ability might have been more useful to us in the long run. Though I wonder if there's a chance he too could come back like Ryvvn. Not thinking so since in the narrative Ryvvn just disappeared but for Rictus he slumped to the ground implying being dead.

There were only two posts on Day 4...[/quote]

Visigoth must be Federation, otherwise the entire Federation team are muppets and sacrificed Rictus for no reason.

Therefore we must keep Visigoth alive.

By the way, the other 3 spies are a team. They are working together. I am not. I am against them completely. As I've already said if you understood me, I'm hunting the other spies down. I would post my role PM but they'd see it. If they all die, I do not win the game, I just get more powers to help our team. If you do not trust this, and want me to post my role PM, say now, and I shall, even though they will read it. Otherwise, if you do trust me, lets hunt down the spies and win the game.

Warning: By making this post I've already likely given a lot away to our enemies. but I needed to tell you in case they get me tonight.

Also Dferrantino is Fed, and this is why Sphenodont died, because they had to split their votes between the two of them.

AugenVonSauron’s role PM wrote:
The only reason you were even on that Warbird was to confirm the Commander’s loyalty. That mission does not stop now, but in the mean-time, you may want to at least interrogate some of these other players.
Each night you may “interrogate” another player. The player will be sedated the next day and removed from play. You will receive a dossier at the end of the following day with the results of your interrogation.
You should not reveal your Tal Shiar alignment to anyone, including other Romulans.
[You have a weapon]

This means Ozymandias is likely not a Romulan, unless AVS believed the spy hunting them was on his team.

Mortus is the only 100% guaranteed Cardassian on my list.

Re: Night 7

Alright Ozy, we'll target retracted - Mortus if you insist.

Btw, the council has been given 2 options to vote on for tomorrow:

1. The top two lynch candidates fight to the death. The loser dies permanently.

2. The lynch is determined by the Council and the public votes on a power instead.

The Klingon Empire chose option 1, of course. Better to die honourably in single combat.

Re: Night 7

Posted: 16 Oct 2013, 15:35:57
by Clearasday
That is of course the most badass option and I wouldn't have it any other way. In fact it would be a hilarious way to die. I look forward to reading all of the council posts when I'm dead.

Re: Night 7

AVS targeted Ozy, so Ozy not a Romulan.

Prior post indicates Ozy not Fed.

His post in the Day thread indicates he knows what happens in the Council so he's not Socio.

Ozy = Card?

More than enough reason to go after him instead of Mort I think.

Re: Night 7

switching to retracted - Ozymandias, going with my gut and educated guess

what happens if we tie?

Re: Night 7

Posted: 16 Oct 2013, 16:23:00
by Clearasday
Mortus is the 100% Cardassian in my book, so I'll likely stick with him unless you really want Ozy. Plus, I'm not entirely sure if Ozy is a spy or not, and thus I think it extremely likely that if he is someone else might knock him off for us.

However, I will switch if you believe Mortus not to be Cardassian, though he's been the only 100% confirmed one for me for a while.

Re: Night 7

Posted: 16 Oct 2013, 16:31:15
by FurinMirado
How do you know he isn't a sociopath?

Re: Night 7

Posted: 16 Oct 2013, 16:38:03
by Clearasday
Because there are likely only 4 sociopaths around, especially as that would mean 5 people on each team.

He's been on the large bandwagon of a Federation, a romulan, and a Klingon, and he's almost never thrown his vote away like the other sociopaths seem to have done from time to time. His vote matters and he's putting it to good effect.

Re: Night 7

Posted: 16 Oct 2013, 16:39:19
by Clearasday
Furthermore on the only day a Cardassian was lynched, he voted early (day 1) and likely didn't return in time to see Stigmata's danger.

Re: Night 7

Posted: 16 Oct 2013, 16:40:03
by Clearasday
I will change to Ozy if you don't change, I just feel like Mortus is slipping through as a Cardassian here.

Re: Night 7

Posted: 16 Oct 2013, 16:41:08
by Clearasday
It is playing the system a bit to guess that there are only 4 sociopaths because there are 24 players, and I'm sure that might come back to haunt me. Maybe you could ask if anyone claims Mortus?
