It is rough. I'm not sure I am impartial in first read on it, & would need to count the votes and maul structure forward to be sure. I suspect this is more highly impactful at endgame as it ends up steering our maul choices in a less than organic fashion.

Catmother, what do you think?

I confess I seriously considered Rekard as a second wolf. I seem to be lynched earlier of late, & I considered that people who have a rep for killing me would be both less guns pointed at me and people I would be less likely to convert (bit meta, but).

That absolutely sounds like it could completely change things at endgame. I haven't written anything down to investigate yet, but it sounds like we could we end up with 2 un-maulable humans.

I was thinking something similar, which was why I was worried; but it seems a theoretical concern, I'm having trouble working out a plausibly broken scenario.

Keeping in mind the immortal Rekard problem, you've got whoever is detained plus him as your two unmaulables at endgame.

Again, I'd need to run a gauntlet to really judge, but I'd like to see the detained as mailable in balance for an unmaulable human near endgame.

Agreed. I need to give it a deeper dive.

Not going to lay blame on the skin without understanding it better.

Even then, seems a fun skin.

Rekard is a princess, ravebomb is (maybe) a priest. We live in interesting times.

So, maul follows the lynch / princess fiat tonight (she really should have a nicer car).

1) Whoever Rekard chooses cannot be mauled.
2) Rekard cannot be mauled.

Are there any other variables blocking the maul?

I'm still not clear on what Ryvvn's decision is wrt whom we can maul when.

If we can maul Ravebomb tonight, I suggest we do. If his priest hints are true, we should try to prevent him from getting to use that power.

Wolves absolutely cannot maul a player moving into detention, that breaks too many things.

I'm debating allowing you to maul a player that is already in detention.

Clarification request. Rekard is eligible for conditionals. Is the princess eligible for maul?

You've said there's something were missing here. I suspect this would result in a missed maul because of current ambiguity over order of ops, ravebomb cant be mauled on his way into detention (if chosen), rolls to Rekard who isn't eligible due to being a fairy princess & not meeting the criteria of parity.

And ryvvn can't be mauled as it's his universe.

Can you advise?

There are other potential effects which could make rekard the player eligible to mauled if you target him; however, if your conditionals stroll across and land on the Princess, the maul will be blocked.

If I may, Ryvvn, that's a rather annoying example of picking apart the terms.

As he exists now, rekard is unkillable. If someone (like the Prince) causes his role to change, we can kill him.

If Ravebomb is detained tonight, we can't maul him tonight, but we may or may not be able to kill him tomorrow...Ryvvn still hasn't decided.

I could use clarification on this sooner than later. I'm leaving the office & will have difficulty getting back for much more tonight.

FCM, I am voiding my maul request - can you confirm we are on last-vote overrides for maul. Can you submit tonight?

If you have an option to kill Rekard - go for it.

Yes, I can be around near EOD.
We won't be able to kill rekard tonight- the situation may arise later in the game, if rekard's role is switched.

The princess (whichever player that is, for now it's rekard, and I think it's HIGHLY unlikely his role will be switched) cannot be killed.
