TWG: LXXXVIII - 7-Zark-7 and rekard present: "A Midsummer Night's Wolfgame".

Postby 7-zark-7 » 19 Oct 2015, 17:10:35

All,

It's been a long time coming. And Rekard and 7z7 have been talking...

So what now, Rekard? Are we to be two immortals locked in an epic battle until Judgment Day and trumpets sound?

Maybe... but what of them?

They both turn, completely breaking the fourth wall, but you're changing the subject.

It had been going on so long, no one recalled exactly how it started. Rekard killed Zark, or maybe it was Zark who first killed Rekard. Either way, the offense was noted, and repaid in kind... over and over again.

It became kind of a game - day 1 vigilante strikes returned via maul (or vice versa). Soon, Zark and Rekard (or Rekard and Zark) became bored with just killing each other. They became more... ambitious.

They turned their sights to you.

“Lovers and madmen have such seething brains,
Such shaping fantasies, that apprehend
More than cool reason ever comprehends.
The lunatic, the lover and the poet
Are of imagination all compact:
One sees more devils than vast hell can hold,
That is, the madman: the lover, all as frantic,
Sees Helen's beauty in a brow of Egypt:
The poet's eye, in fine frenzy rolling,
Doth glance from heaven to earth, from earth to heaven;
And as imagination bodies forth
The forms of things unknown, the poet's pen
Turns them to shapes and gives to airy nothing
A local habitation and a name.”

Welcome, kind mortals, to the Duke's wood (not a vote).

Signup below if we be friends, and Rekarowski shall restore amends...

More in a bit,

Rekard/7z7

((PS - we need to hammer out the details, of course, but we've got a nice momentum going... it'd be a shame to let it go to waste... Game on?))

With a little bit of genre-bending I think there's room for two Pucks IN here, yeah?

Is it wrong I read that as gender-bending? So long as you're an honest puck, it matters not to me...

Puck does not lie!

And given how Puck in Captain Earth turns out, well, gender-bending isn't entirely an inaccurate way to read that. Though a bit incomplete.

Through the forest have I gone, but a start date found I none, on whose times I might approve, this wolf's commitment to the game.

I'll say temporary IN for now because this looks awesome, but I may have to pull out due to impending exams.
THERE IS NO JUSTICE, THERE IS JUST CLEARASDAY.

Rictus, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. dferrantino? I have a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for Aldax, and you curse the wolf-hunters. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That Aldax's death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to.

The GM says this:

we don't have back room access yet

And that is a godsdamn shame. Rekard spent a lot of time drafting roles, and a great many bothans died.

They didn't have to, apparently the man hates Bothans.

He does like Brunettes though.

Disclaimer: I've not been getting as much free time as I used to - but I can at least promise to get in a post/vote a day. Son starts up Wrestling next week and then I'll likely not be getting back to the house until 6:30 at the earliest.. and still have to run out and do more stuff (yay?)

With kindness.

Sorry.

You opened this thread... what the hell man

Clearly, I wasn't in a sound frame of mind at the time... next thing you'll tell me I'm collaborating with rekard

wait for it...

scrolls upwards again...

when the hell did ~that~ happen?

Absinthe is a hell of a drink

The humans love a battle hearty,
so does Puck; come on let's party!
I kind of assume Okaros is out to backstab me until proven otherwise. - DOM

Now it is the time of night
That the graves, all gaping wide,
Every one lets forth his sprite
In the church-way paths to glide.

Charming, to the last.
