CXV - A Call to Arms
Flavor to-be-completed at a later time, but in the interest of getting sign-ups up to be signed:
Daylight slowly leaked past the pillared frescoes of the Great Ephebian Fora. Light on the Disc always leaked slowly; it hadn't gotten into it's head yet that speed and light should belong in the same vicinity. Energy didn't become matter in these parts. Quite the contrary; energy went for a bit of a lie-down and then let inertia maintain entropy until moss started to grow in the cracks.
But sound! Inside the Fora itself, the Ephebian Senate, advised by the currently ranking Philosophers, debated what to do about Tsort. Again. And the sound of that debate raged in and out of the spectrums of conceivability (Ephebians do know what that word means - they just choose to disregard it until a sufficient quorum has been established to recognize the proper definition).
((Ephebes [Greeks] v. Tsorteans [Trojans] many years after the equivalent of the Trojan War, ala Terry Pratchett, because I can. Render unto Caesar and all that.))
---
As discussed some time back, this will be a mandatory-participation game. All players will be required to hit a "substantive post minimum" - we'll start off lightly at 5 posts per game day. In order to accomodate timezones and life and such, each game day will last for 72 hours.
Other items remain the same from that initial discussion:
I'm going to be the ultimate judge of 'posts of substance' - but in general, a post that comments on the human/wolf nature of some subset of the player base, with some level of reasoning behind it. The goal here is to generate discussion, but I will penalize those who aren't participating to the expected level.
Penalty votes will not be publicly revealed until the next day's tally.
I'm going to run this with anti-sniping measures (I think I've done this before); the day won't end at any particular set time, and it definitely won't end within 30 minutes of the most recent vote (barring one voter flipping back & forth in an effort to extend end-time). In general, we'll aim to end in the evening-time for those on EDT time.
Everything else about this game will be 100% vanilla. No seer, no GA, no vigilantes, no alpha wolf. Everyone will either be wolf or human.
e: Start time for the game will be Sunday afternoon / evening, with an end-of-first-day aiming for Wednesday. Ish.

Out due to some intermittent time conflicts and overall busy-ness, but dead me as I'd like to see how this plays out/comment from the afterlife.

Re: CXV - A Call to Arms
After struggling with the issue of the inernet at this office being Websense'd out of its mind I managed to stumble upon the fact that TWG is not blocked, and several sites also clear up, the only "downside" is that I have to use Edge.
TL;DR: I'm in, it'd be a nice exercise to force me being more analytical and open to discussing methods

What... like fat?
Regardless, I'll go ahead and say I'm in... there may be a more substantial post later.
Or I may post city council transcripts. Tough call

RaveBomb making a lot of sense is how you know you're past the point of no return and that death is the only escape.

Your thread at Ars points to your old game with Star vs. the Forces of Evil. I thought it was a time traveling game.

SvtFE was actually *my* old game, so this is actually a Quantum Leap-style time-travelling game. DOM must leap from game to game, putting right the mistakes other GMs have made and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap back to this one...

Thanks - tweaked that; I had copied in some of Okaros' last game post, and missed that (the signup link in the top half was correct, I think).

Yeah, signup link was fine.
Now the question is... If you're Sam Beckett, who's your Al? Dferr?

Re: CXV - A Call to Arms
Hmm, hello all; it's been a while. But, you've always been close to my heart (and often on my mind). But, I don't have as much free time as I used to (freaking work and RL, sucking up my time)... And, my work daytime is harder pressed than it used to be for being able to have time to read and post like I used to.
But, with the extended 'day' period it should be plenty of time for me to get in enough posts during the week.
I'm in.

I think I RP'd that once, cycling through old roleplay from prior games.
More causality violations in a bit,

I suspect that people should be able to see, post, and murder on the boards now - yell if someone sees something they shouldn't, or doesn't see something they should.
