Day 0: Encounter at Farpoint

Once a bustling colony, now a barren rock, and soon to be the site of a game.
Located somewhere near The Neutral Zone.

Day 0: Encounter at Farpoint

Postby Omega » 04 Oct 2013, 13:39:51

Look around you, you are on the edge of Federation space. This also happens to be the first place I met Picard. My interactions with him have led me to this game, for you see, he showed me that you mortals may be good for more than just extinction afterall!

So, stock up on supplies, get a tapestry or two, perhaps get a tour from Groppler Zorn, but don't forget the lessons learned here.

See you soon

Risa certainly had more appeal than this place. I almost wish I was back on Deep Space Nine...

Almost.

Recitation: Several thousand years ago, a former master sent me here to assassinate a Bandi. He forgot to tell me which Bandi it was, so I killed one or six hundred Bandi. Just to be certain.

Statement: I enjoyed working for that master. It's so rare to have a master that respects my ability to eventually find and eliminate his intended target.

Have you considered joining the Cardassian First Order? The Third Regiment would find you quite fascinating, and I think you would really enjoy their motto: "Death to All".

I could put you in touch with someone, if you happen to be interested...

How much is this tapestry?
My friend, for you, 50 slips.
50 slips? That's a bit much. How about 20?
I'm sorry, but there is no way I could part with this for less than 40 slips. It's hand made by the finest craftsmen on Qo'noS.
Well that certainly explains why it's covered in spikes. Still 40 sure sounds a bit steep. Plus is this an imperfection on the depiction of Kahless as he's forging the first bat'leth? That certainly won't do. Let us split the difference at 30 slips?
You drive a hard bargain my friend but it is acceptable.

Query: Do you fear that your own mucus-coated intake orifice is inefficient by comparison, meatbag?

Observation: Many meatbags will change their physiology to address their feelings of physical inadequacy.

Suggestion: A phaser shot directed at the offensive orifice should greatly increase its efficiency. I am an expert at this method and would gladly volunteer my services.

There's only room for one Captain on this starship.

And a note for the Ladies: Prepare to be boarded!

My Gawd people! Did you not see what happened to Frank? He went down with the Captain and First Officer, and didn't come back! I mean who sends the CAPTAIN on an away party? It's DANGEROUS down there, just ask Frank! Oh wait, you CAN'T, 'cause he's DEAD!

And now I've been issued a new uniform. I'm not sure what this strange lettering is on the front, but it can't be good.

Amused Commentary: I saw what happened to Frank. His reactions were poor even for a meatbag - I barely had to aim.

What lettering on your shirt, some son of a klingon decided it would be a great idea to steal my visors batteries

Look... I don't know when the next landing party is going to be, but I'm not going to end up like Frank. I'm going to climb into this crawl space and, oh, I dunno, realign the fungible vent core or something.

Point is, I'm BUSY, and can't beam down to DeathTrap IV, or whatever stupid planet we're orbiting.
