All is quiet in Night Vale. As quiet as the grave. Fresh turned earth. A shriveled hand, half-seen in the darkness. A stumbling movement followed by a quick movement downwards.

All is quiet. So horribly, terrifyingly quiet.

Kid sets off to find the Skyway. All he finds is dust. Kid wonders if the Bastion turned into dust, like everyone he knew before the Calamity.

Night falls. Kid sees lights in the distance. Probably a mirage, but he ain't got anywhere else to go. Turns out to be a town, but it ain't like any town he's ever seen. Kid needs to eat and sleep, so he stays there a spell. He ain't one to ask for help, but looks like he's got no choice.

I feel like this wasn't an around-the-corner knifing...either a bomb planter knife or a "follow the leader and pick off the guy in the back" knifing.

I think the only clean around-the-corner knifing I got on Dust was on GAx. I remember that one vividly - T's were moving through the left to plant on A, so I was going to loop behind them via the door next to the tunnel/ramp. I rounded the corner and was literally on top of GAx, who for once didn't react until I landed the first Secondary. I think I still took a Deagle shot in the ~2 seconds it took for the second one to land, but for once it wasn't the seemingly inevitable point-blank Deagle headshot.

Man was he pissed. It was my first clean knife kill on him - the kill on Italy was from two primaries on the bottom floor of the house. He was so low he claimed that wasn't a "true" knifing. ))

The donuts not existing was a bit strange. What I found odder was when the break room kind of winked out into a point of light and then reappeared with everything mirrored. I'll miss Fred but Derf isn't a bad guy.
