Night 8

I'm sure you're immune to the effects of Radon Canyon. Possibly. Well you certainly won't die a gruesome death. Maybe.

No no. We're not winning. Guys, don't jinx it. We are losing.

let's have the potential final maul be DOM -> Rictus

If one of us dies, we might need to change it.

Today, everything should be valid. I have thrown stones against everyone, but gotten some of my conclusions. I think i am contradicting your theory, but if we take stabs at each other, we need to make it real. By the by, I think you should not respond to me much right now, as it could look wrong with people saying you reacted too fast or something. Yikes. It's gonna be a tense gameday.

Yeah no worries, I'm going to take it easy; I haven't posted much all game and not going to really change that habit just because it's potentially the last day. You did make a good point in the day thread though, I haven't been poked really at all this entire game; I wonder if my wolf game would have held up under pressure?

In any event, I'm going to stick to my ploy of stubborn pride regarding my instinct helping to win the last game for the humans.

Clear, I hope you got a bit of time today. Using correct words you might convince someone to switch. Or well at least that is my hope. I would wish for the game to end today though but seems unlikely.

Depending on where CAD ends up (rictus or blind being the choices) and if fuzz were to move (doubtful, not a single retraction all game), or if he can make a convincing enough argument to get someone off of himself and onto another, I can be ready to snipe switch at EoD if it guarantees the win.

Maybe even an appeal to vote Fuzz could help. I think that PJ or Blind can be convinced. I can also snipe if needed. Up to Clear though. It's a tough one.

I think if Clear dies, DOM is right to maul, since it gives no information if he dies. At this rate, if Blind doesn't switch, a massive 3 vote switch can help by the end, but who knows. Relies on fate too much.

Hope my slight defense of CAD there and my continually condemnation of DOM, won't come back to bite me if both are revealed tonight; my thoughts being that it leaves me an out to say I can't trust my own instincts this game and to follow whatever the majority vote is tomorrow instead of having to be the one to vote early.

I've clearly been playing this game as day thread first, then reflecting on what it might mean for me as a wolf; in the long run I think it's helped my wolf game a ton, there are definitely players with strong human leans on me, though I've essentially been sort of lone wolfing it this whole time, which doesn't speak well to my team play.

Your arguments don't sound forced so that's good. That's the importaant part. You could have been voting for wolves all game long and still get lynched.

And timing was the best. Days 3 and 4 have helped us quite a bit. Seems that my initial thought of a wolf killing a wolf around days 3 or 4 works quite well. It isn't too early, but soon enough that players remember it as a good action.

40 minutes remaining. It looks like we're still at:

Contingency Maul: Rictus

Too bad Clear can't post more. I bet we would have won today if he had the time to convince the masses.

Tomorrow I think we should stick to Fuzzmz. Maybe Rictus or PJ as alternates. As long as we diffuse or deflect heat on us we should be good.

I colored in my notes with CAD and DOM dead, and instead of taking on a defeatist attitude in the day thread, I think I'm going to push Blind, PJ, and Rictus as most likely wolves in my eyes tomorrow; human me would see their votes as complimentary to each other, they make a nice spread of red.

...wait, CAD will be dead, there'd be only 2 wolves left; so maybe just Blind and Rictus? Maybe I'll just keep my trap shut to start with.

I will nudge it in Fuzz's direction. I think people can agree on that.

I know you'd need to make a fairly compelling argument to convince me, but hopefully you'll convince others (and then I'll just jump on at the end).

I said nudge. Enough people suspect him. And I can justify it on that wolf Wasabi win some games ago by being almost absent.
