((ICB also tends towards honesty in real life events. He had to bow out of my Terminator game while in an important role, & I recall but can't pin down the details another similar event. I don't recall him ever "breaking character" and claiming real-life busy as a wolf. Admittedly, it's small sample size. He hasn't been a wolf very often))

Meta4 wrote:I'm still suspicious of Ice Cold Burrito's questionable attack on the twinsies. He faulted them for self-preservation voting right after admitting to doing the same. Very fishy.

I don't have any strong leads for a second place vote, so I'll throw it at Smirker for now. Can't trust a man that is smirking all the time.

Gog think little one might want to hold her attack-doggie at bay for a little while and get to know Tortilla Man a little better. They have a lot more in common than they may realize.

Gog is more than okay with watching Zot get in ring, though. Grudge match with barbarian make Gog laugh!

Heading out to look at a house now, before the storms roll in, in a fit of coincidence.

Just in case shit goes south, I'll toss out votes for dferrantino and meta4. I should be back to adjust as events warrant, but just in case.

Huzzah, I've rolled my save against Internet distraction, and caught up to yesterday on my "who is a likely convert" analysis. I'll look at the rest of today later... it's not crucial to be caught up because only the Guardian Angel can stop that conversion.

Okay, this spoiler has my long form notes. I think very very few people will want to click it.

[+] notes dump -- I doubt you want to click this
Well, you were warned. Below is a check of who was pushed by whom, and who was too hot on the vote tallies.

second conversion good targets for no attention

FurinMirado -> Admetus, ICB, Ozy
Hellheart -> ICB
Ozymandias -> Smirker
Rictus -> ICB
Smirker -> MaxFrost
Stigmata -> Admetus
Visigoth -> Rictus

No attention overlap with conversion 1
Zark, Antipater, Furinmirado, sphenodont, twdog

For silencing pressure, overlap
FurinMirado

7-zark-7

Admetus -> dferrantino, ICB
Rictus -> Zark (and others?)
sphenodont -> Admetus, Antipater, Stigmata
twdog -> Ozymandias, RaveBomb

overlap pending Day 6 results

If the Network is picking people based on how much they can hide, the short list for conversion 1 is
Zark, Admetus, Antipater, FurinMirado, ICB, MaxFrost, Meta4, Rictus, Smirker, sphenodont, twdog, Visigoth

And conversion 2:
zark, Antipater, FurinMirado, Hellheart, sphenodont, Stigmata, twdog

The overlap is:
Zark, Antipater, FurinMirado, sphenodont, twdog

I also tracked who was doing a bunch of pushes, which would make a person a good target for conversion. In other words, the Network could silence critics that had been pushing actual Network targets. The best person there because he's made pushes all game, was FurinMirado.

So, I conclude that FurinMirado is the most desirable convert for the first two opportunities the Network had.

For my second vote, Smirker. I think I've explained that earlier. Also, while he would have made a terrible convert later, for the first one he was looking like a good pick.

What the fuck! You know how much this jacket cost and you went and got fucking blueberry juice all over it. I'm not sure which of the two of you is responsible for this shit, but one of yous is certainly going to be picking up the tab on the cleaning.

Speaking of which, who the hell thought it would be a good idea to have an "Twin Day" as the special event. Guy can't get shit for service as is and now there's a whole fuckload of extra tossers in here. Four in particular that could take a long walk off a short pier are: dferrantino, Meta4, the other dferrantino, and the even more obnoxious twin of Meta4. You guys need to jog on!

Yea, well; we have no idea of what vote manip powers are even possible; much less in play. But it's my hope that the vote record will help illustrate Network members after I'm gone.

[e}: besides, even if I go down; i'm not worried about it. It won't help my team (humans) but with Admetus having been taken out it helps compensate for my own poor vigi shot.

So can you (or Mister Dog) provide a vote record that implicates me?

I'm all for dying if (a) it helps, and (b) can be rationally explained. But The only one who's coming close is Ozy, and I feel like I successfully refuted those claims. Since everyone seems convinced that ICB is human, I'll go with the crowd's consensus. As I stated in my post, my reasoning was weak, I just didn't have much to go on.

If ICB is human, then Ozymandias is almost certainly a wolf. Smirker, on the other hand, still smells like a wolf to me.

Yep, overall I was feeling you were human yesterday; but then you stated earlier in this gameday that you felt like my lack of expectation for the twins being removed together was basically inane. Which I can't help but take some exception to, especially when my rationale seemed to satisfy you the day before. I'm not opposed to moving my vote off of you in general, but i felt there was a shift in your tone towards me int he space of the evening. However, I did note that you didn't immediately vote on me, But, that could be that you just didn't want it on the record you voted for a human when I go down - so I have to take your lack of vote with a grain of salt - especially after I felt your earlier statement was a bit inflammatory of me.

Your rationale didn't matter as much to me as the end result. I wanted the twins gone. I just think your defense is inane, and your action is defensible all on it's own. This is why I've not voted for you yet, despite all the other people who have. I am happy you did what you did, and still think that's a human action.

Basically it's one of those cases where I'd come to the conclusion logically, and I'm not THAT smart, so I rather expect most people to have figured it out before me.

What I'm trying to say here is that you are openly admitting to finding me suspicious simply for the sin of calling you out on a faulty defense. That shouldn't be enough. My voting record didn't change between EOD yesterday and Start of Day today, when you thought I was human.

By that rationale and using your last few posts toward me, I should be denouncing you as vampire and hoping twdog has a wooden stake. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

*shrug* I only speak the truth on my rationale.

I've been curious to see if anyone else brought up Okaros's challenge to vig him or ThatPJ on the beginning of D5. Because of that post in particular I discarded the idea of them being eliminated together.

As for the stupid comment - part of the reason I pointed that out is because IIRC that is a tell of yours. Being a bit passive-aggressive and subtly insulting other people if they don't agree with your viewpoint -- it's reminiscent of that loathsome dating technique where a sleazy guy insults girls to throw them off their game when they are trying to seduce them. I'd refer back to earlier games for that, but TBH I quit referring earlier games a while back because I found it far too time-consuming and even if it did lead to a positive result it didn't mean as much to me. So, don't fret about it too much (if it was sincere); mainly i was wondering if others saw it as a tell.

Has Ozy been this quiet on all the recent games? I'm torn if he's trying ot keep a low profile; and if so - if he just trying to see if he can make it to endgame for a change.

Sometimes you just have to put your foot down and gently stop the all the horseplay. You may PM me during a Round to stop all vote manipulation during that Round. All hidden votes, penalty votes, and other such nonsense will be cancelled. You must wait three Rounds after activating this power before you may activate it gain.

Nice shot, dude!

I'm afraid I got super busy this weekend, but dferrantino and meta4 both make sense to me for now. I'll try to re-read the thread before EOD though.

Gog is back now.

Looks like Gog not feel so bad about Dierdre, and maybe funny feeling in Gog gut not because of old rations!

Gog would like to see barbarian and Zot throw down, but thinks witch doctor also worth checking out.

(that would be dferrantino and smirker.)

You are one of the teenage residents of Newton Haven joining the Golden Mile for the first time. Like many novice drinkers, you're a big fan of drinking games. Once per game, you may PM me to let me know that you wish to start a game of Quarters at the beginning of the next Round. This game will supersede any special events planned by the GM or triggered by players who PM me after you do. During the game, the following rules are in effect:
1) Each player will PM a vote of Heads or Tails to the GM during the next Round.
2) The players who are in the majority of responses will be safe from lynch, conversion, or maul during the next Round.
3) Your lynch votes will REDACTED.
4) You REDACTED.

I'm more inclined to think dferrantino is human; so I'm not going to vote for him. We'll see what's what soon enough (or I will).
