You just couldn't get FurinMirado alone long enough to make the switch. It was almost like some was intentionally keeping him company.

Your conversion failed due to an action by another player. I will confirm that FurinMirado would have been convertible otherwise.

Oh well.

GM, can I ask ICB and Admetus whether they want to vote Head or Tails?

And can ICB ask Rave and Hellheart the same on his board?

Yes. If people have private communications, they can discuss it to their hearts content. I just didn't want the main thread to be consumed by ideas like "If we all vote heads, no one can be lynched!".

Unfortunately if Furin's on the right side of the toss we may not get the guaranteed conversion on Night 6.

Well, I'm sure we're going to be given a list of eligible lynches, we can pick from there. Maybe one of our wish list is going to be there.

Right, but what I'm saying if Furin isn't on the list, then we're not guaranteed a successful Night 6 conversion (since the GA can't protect him again until Night 7).

That was actually a big part of the reason I was willing to risk converting Furin last night.

Okay, I'll let you guys chime in, but I am inclined to use my one-shot to call off the event, for three reasons:

(1) It should guarantee a Furin conversion tomorrow night

(2) The fact that there's a public reveal of the winners means that if use our communications advantage to all vote the same way, then that can potentially be used against us later in the game after 1 or 2 of us die. But if we don't then we're putting some of us at extra risk for the lynch.

Honestly it feels like there are multiple potential traps if we go along with this.

(3) If I don't use my power today, then I probably won't get another chance until Day 7-- and who knows if I'll live that long? We have to expect an impending wave of Vigs at some point.

Thoughts?

I am totally fine with you killing the event.

Or we all vote heads. Hellheart thinks that's how it goes anyway. But you have a better plan.

I'm pondering who would have thought to cover FurinMirado today. I doubt it was Hellheart, for instance, and there are a lot of people who would be less on top of things. Hmm.

This is not Hellheart power. Ozy is Hellhearts foil - - Hellheart can create vote games like today's game. See my post yesterday for his quote. Though he claims he didn't make today's game, and thinks there might be a thief or replicant power in play.

It's quite likely that furin protected himself.

He's also musing as to whether the network will choose heads/tails together or spread out and hide.

He might put the game back into play in 2 days. My hunch.

btw, we should keep in mind that like the Seer and the Converts, the GA is an ADDITIONAL power that was randomly assigned.

So for example Hellheart could have the powers he says he does, AND also be GA.

I know it's a pain in the ass, but would you mind posting everything from the board to a thread here?

Especially now that HH is in there, I feel like that information could be useful down the line.

On the off chance Helllheart is telling the truth, I have a suggestion for the GM:

(a) I think the Coinflip game is a little skewed. I think it would be more interesting if the MINORITY received immunity.

(b) If you decide not to change it from the majority, then can you change the Heads/Tails option to a more neutral choice? Because it feels like most people's initial instinct is to pick Heads, and given the way is set up there's no reason not to pick Heads.

In fact, the main reason I called off the game is that I was afraid EVERYBODY would pick heads, Meta4 and Blindsniper would be the only vulnerable players, one would get lynched, and the other would get GA protected.

I will, but later. At least after I get home, Possibly as late as tomorrow midday. Depending on whether we are looking at homes tonight.

ICB, thinking over who you should invite tonight-- what we want most is information, so I think you should only consider players whose powers we do NOT know or strongly suspect. That list includes:

Antipater
FurinMirado
Maxfrost
Meta4
Rictus
San
Simple_Simon
sphenodont
stigmata
twdog
Visigoth

We're converting Furin so we'll know his power soon.

Of the rest, I think Rictus, spheno, and Simon would be most likely to share information (maybe also Maxfrost).

And all three of them seem pretty invested in the game, so that might indicate a more important power like Role Seer.

Hmm, I guess piss taker / bully / ass doesn't really seem compatible with power seer, so let's strike him from the list of prospective invites.

Smirker and Simon are both at 4 votes.

I'm a little worried twdog and dferr will push me up towards the leaders, actually.

I can vote for either. I think we can make it a two-horse race. Will drop a vote now.

[e] Well, with Okaros's death it is totally a 2-horse race. And I think I dropped a logical vote.

---wonder if I should switch to recruit Smirker to my board. Since I just called him human and all. But I think I want to keep it on Sphen, just to figure out who he is.

Yes, and it will work to our advantage if Smirker survives today and then later on you die before he does.

So I don't think you should switch off Simon today.

I think spheno is still the best choice, since we're trying to find the Role Seer.
