Yes, and of course you are slowed down by your private board, so my attack should be particularly ineffective there.

That was a great response, ICB!

Hopefully that will take the heat off of you.

btw, I feel like Human ICB now would deliberately not vote for at least an hour-- so that it wouldn't look like I was successfully pressuring him?

Human ICB, playing conservatively, doesn't feel safe just yet. So yes, he'll hold off just in case.

Yeah, role claiming doesn't seem like such a great idea.

Maybe the best thing to do is nothing?

Other than posting your analysis, maybe voting for Furin, and hoping spheno responds well to it?

Yep. I'm through Day 4 out of 6. Takes a while to do this. Though I certainly have all the motivation I need to hurry. ;)

Posted. I did vote for Smirker, because if I'm going down, I want to link my human-killing with the attack on FurinMirado.

One risk -- the Humans may decide that since I attacked FM and was then shot, that FM would make a good "reverse psychology, convert immediately" target. It will depend on how late in the day sphenodont shoots me.

Yeah, fortunately ICB will be able to get a sense of that on the other board, so we can switch off Furin if we need to. But I'm hoping we won't have ot.

Anyway, I think it was worth the risk. That analysis was pretty good, so it just might keep you in the game if spheno finds it useful.

Though I'm not sure I understand what makes a "good target to silence pressure"?

Well, you remember when FurinMirado suggested ICB and I would be good conversion targets? I think he even voted on us then. And we were like, let's convert him so he stops saying that? That's what I mean by silencing pressure.

Gotcha.

btw, can you change your conversion target to "whatever Ozy's or ICB's last conversion target is" ?

Not sure what rules are if you get vigged and I switch off Furin-- technically, that might produce a tie if your vote still counts equally.

If a vig happens and you guys hadn't reacted or swapped votes, I'd count the dead person's vote. Not going to screw you guys over something like that.

Edit: If you want to make it so the last vote of the day overrides all previous votes, let me know. I'd need consent from all three of you.

If you can somehow convince Smirker to vote for dferr that would be pretty awesome!

dferr and Meta4 getting lynched is our best-case scenario

I can then justify voting for Smirker tomorrow, and save you for the day after he finally gets lynched.

That's the goal I'm trying to work toward.

So we get Furin tonight. I'm being pressured to add Zark tomorrow to my board. It'd be interesting to know who he is, but beyond that IDK.

I think adding Zark is a good idea-- he seems to believe you're Human, so he could be a valuable ally.

And even though he's likely responsible for the graffiti, that's also probably not his only power.

Not MUCH on my board, except speculation that Meta4 has a board of his own. Speh believes he would have been a good candidate for Network, Hellheart's convinced that dferr is network, but depending on learning what Meta4 is, could be even more convinced of him.

c/p incoming in the other thread.

I can go with adding Zark to my board, but I will make the formal request late in the day, for multiple reasons:

1. I want to watch him and be sure.
2. If I end up in lynch trouble tomorrow, the later I add him, the more desperate it's going to look, and the worse he'll look as a result, at least to Rave, Sphen, and HH. :D

Meta4 seems pretty invested in the game.

Given his vote for me, I really hope his reward wasn't a Vig shot ...

Sphen seems to believe (or has heard) that he has a forum. And IF the Day 3 game was player-initiated, that vig is gone and I think we might be clear.

OK. So we KNOW that today's game is player initiated, and gave the initiator (sphen) a vig that must be used in the same game-day.
We KNOW that there was a voting game yesterday (coin flip), and smirker had a vig. Using today's info, we can reasonably infer that smirker started the game and had a vig that could only be used that day.
We know there was a voting game on Day 3. It coincides with the third type Hellheart can create. No vig happened.

I am under the impression that each game could be played twice, one initiated by Hellheart, and one initiated by someone else (3 different someones). The different someones get a vig shot that must be used.

I believe the Day 3 game came and went, and someone didn't take a shot.

In fact, damn... it might very well be that Zark did it. He did not make an appearance on Day 3. It would make sense. The only other potential candidates are the ones who missed Day 2 votes (CAD and Rictus). CAD's already got another power assigned. It COULD BE Rictus (losing his vig shot by virtue of not voting the day prior), but I think it exceedingly unlikely since if he PM'd to start the game but didn't vote, I think Neckless would have not started the game at all.

Thanks for all that-- but I meant "Why do they think Meta4 has a forum?" ! Sorry about my sloppy quoting

But actually the insight about Zark was interesting-- though it's hard to believe someone who had a Vig shot that was only good for one day would miss that day.

So let's try to give a little thought to converting Furin.

Here's his vote History:
Day 1 HELLHEART(15th overall, 2nd on HH)
Day 2 DFERRANTINO (12th overall, 1st) on dferr
Day 3 (redacted) ADMETUS & ICB (8th overall, 1st on both)
Day 3 META4 & SIMPLE_SIMON (29th overall, 7th on Meta4, 4th on Simon, last-minute snipe)
Day 4 IRON CLAD BURRITO (14th overall, 2nd on ICB)
Day 5 SIMPLE_SIMON (7th overall, 2nd on Simon)
Day 6 DFERRANTINO & SMIRKER (2nd overall, 1st on both)

Here's who voted for Furin:
Day 2 DOM
Day 3 SIMPLE_SIMON
Day 6 ADMETUS

Surprisingly, that's it.

So after you die, how suspicious do you think he'll look?

Will he look like an obvious conversion target?

Your conversion failed due to an action by another player. I will confirm that FurinMirado would have been convertible otherwise.

GM, the antecedent of "another" isn't quite clear-- did you mean a player other than us, or a player other than Furin?

In other words, is the above confirmation that Furin was NOT the (EDIT:) the player who prevented Furin's conversion?

That I can't call. He's an obvious target any day just to get his skills on the wolves' side. Kinda like you.

He's not drawing heat, though; I think he could continue not drawing until VERY late game, and could even then continue persuading people to keep him in the game. If *I* can draw heat before him, then I think he'll do well.

A player other than one of the one's reading the post. So not one of The Network.

Good to know, thanks.

Okay, so I guess this means Furin could still be the GA, which would be great (since he can't protect himself again tonight).

Alright, I suppose after our last miss we can't afford to give up what should be a guaranteed maul.

I'm fine with keeping the conversion on Furin.

Though Visigoth is very tempting ...

Hm, there was a 4th vig in play. Wow.

I was considering twdog for my Night 9 conversion if I lived so long. Guess not.

A productive day, all in all -- we lose 1, but they will end up losing 3. Fantastic.
