Night 11: No More Mr. Nice Guys

Postby necklessone » 01 May 2014, 18:09:11

Screw this. You've tried the polite approach and it's gotten you no where. From now on you're going to mulch first, infiltrate once the mess is taken care of. Please submit a maul target.

Also, you managed to subdue the real Smirker and have him replaced. Make good use of it.

Smirker, you can vote too.

And welcome.

Also, since you now have access to at least 4 forums, I'd advise you to triple check everything you say from here on in.

OMFG. You guys suck!

I'm a robosexual now?

So astound you missed conversions... Much shock

=======

And yea, I always triple check which board I'm talking in before submitting.

Honestly though, you should've gotten spheno. as a spent vigi he is far less suspicious than me - especially because of the timing and such.

Sidenote: Ah ha! So my initial read on you (ICB) WAS accurate then!!!

LOL

Quick history:

me and Admetus
Then Ozy
Furin protected himself
Then sphen killed Admetus
We got Furin
You killed Ozy
We missed Visi
We got you
We're killing visi
And the two misses are what's going to help us win. Because as far as anyone's concerned, the Network has 5 4 members.

[E2] Also, We should need a backup maul, just in case. From the network. Sphen or Rave? Hellheart needs to live.

Understood and thanks. Now I have to put on my bad-guy hat.

which is just like my good-guy hat.. but White.

Plus-side, i've avoided mega-theorizing pretty well. And, the theories i quickly dismissed because of being far too low in probability -- showed as true.

Having one of the chat hosts be Network is just mean evil and vicious.

Well, I may be outted on the Friends and Family board.. so be cautious.

[[before necklessone said that if one of us was converted it'd be obvious.. we'll see if he sticks to it. ]]

============================================================================================

Also, I'd probably angle towards eliminating spheno with the maul (rather than Rave)...

sidenote... Rave *IS* in both private boards too! oh wait, FM should've already told you.

act surprised when it eventually comes out. ;)

Yeah, when Furin told me who was in the other board, I facepalmed. I knew it was a mistake bringing you in, but it was a panic decision brought on by that wagon on San. Then I learned that sphen didn't have anyone I didn't have.

I'm still acting peeved at HH, and a little less so at sphen.

Sorry, I got back too late. The good news is I am ready to run the mini-marathon on Saturday. The bad news is...I am ready to run the mini-marathon on Saturday. :flail:

I'll ask the same question I asked earlier: Can I block one of our mauls?

Then the question: Should I block one of our mauls?

Pro: It will look like I'm still in it to win it for the Humans.
Con: We have an unproductive maul.

It depends most on whether we think people will start voting for me again.

Hrm, and i reread the post that i thought meant that the Friends and Family would be able to tell if someone gets converted.. i misread it. there will be no thread reveal. hehe..

BWA HAHAHAHAHABBQ!

Which after i thought about it; i recalled that my assumption in that thread is why I thought I'd be able to tell if spheno was converted.

Gotta start thinking about the endgame.

10 players remain. 7:3 ratio.

Round 11 - lynch human, maul human - 5:3
Round 12 - lynch human, maul human - 3:3 Network win!

If I'm going to use my vote additive power now might be the time to do it. I can vote for Hellheart again which will make my vote worth 2 today. If he's not lynched then my vote against him is worth 3 on Round 12. Thoughts?

If we take out Visigoth tonight then we have 2 players we have to try to lynch and we can maul whoever we feel like. Hellheart seems like an obvious choice for scapegoat. Maybe Ravebomb as #2?

With our timing right now I am going to say I should definitely not block our maul. Then we'd have to try to lynch a third person and that would not be good.

Oh, of course I forgot about Stigmata. We can probably get him lynched.

Edit: Actually Hellheart will either turn on me again or go along with his Stigmata lynch plan from yesterday. If he goes with Stigmata then will the rest follow his lead?

Theoretical Endgame:
Round 11 - lynch Stigmata, maul Visigoth
Round 12 - lynch Hellheart, maul sphenodont

We'll start Round 12 with a ratio of 5:3 except my vote will be worth 3 so we'll actually have 5 votes to match their 5. As far as I know there are no other vote manipulation powers that can save Hellheart. Ravebomb has a VM but only to help himself.

Well, let's see... 9 people alive now? 3 v 6

So... um, if you CAN do it, then tonight would really be the only time I'd feel comfy.

I'm not personally comfy with it, but it doesn't really extend the game, as long as we can dodge lynches.

----

I just realized, rave would not be a good secondary target, as long as Rictus and HH are alive.

Maybe now is the time when antipater becomes a secondary target. We'll need to watch the day.

In order of desired death:

Visi
Sphen
...
HH

Lets hold off till EOD tomorrow to decide on blocking the maul or not. We don't have to rush it.

Maul --> Visigoth --> Rictus?

Hellheart's death will be followed by my immediate lynch, I think. It'll extend the game by a day. You can use your vote today, but I'd like to ensure he doesn't die today. Your extra votes would be a wonderful endgame though.

Ravebomb: Not to maul. Hellheart will still take him out before me.

[e] I'll bet a buck that Hellheart pulls double lynch tomorrow. Maybe we do take him out today, just to stop that. Unless necklessone gimped that power even further.

I'm dead tired. I should probably just head to bed. Let's see we have:

Roaring Drunk:
Antipater
FurinMirado
Hellheart
Iron Clad Burrito
RaveBomb
Rictus
Smirker
sphenodont
Stigmata
Visigoth

10, right? Or am I including a dead guy?

No, I was wrong. 10.

Now I don't want you blocking a maul, unless Smirker or I go down in the next 2 days.

Yeah, it was a clever idea, but I'm not going to do it if we have an even number. I just hope I don't suddenly go down tomorrow. The crowd can turn on me incredibly quickly.

Just in case, I'm going to spend some time with a robot hooker.

Oh, cancelling a maul to gain credit is a good idea -- if it comes down to it.

I know that i ranked you very high as a probable conversion (and i'm not the only one). But congrats, thanks to your reaction to zark's power cancellation -- I believed your story. His reaction didn't help his case either.

and I guess I should say:

maul - Visigoth --> sphenodont

That sounds about right?

Possible lynch targets will be Hellheart, Stigmata and Ravebomb. I almost put Antipater in there but (1) I'd like to see him survive all game and (2) people probably won't buy it. Visigoth attracted a vote but I wouldn't expect that to happen again. The rest are going to be too hard to push.

I just realized I can put the screws to Hellheart HARD.

He outed my network because it was mathematically impossible to be pure. Except now we know it's not.

I don't want to kill him, though.

Tell you what. I'm going to toss the info out there, and you follow your instincts, Furin.

Actually Antipater should be a great maul target if we see a huge bandwagon on HH take off for the lynch. Because Antipater did state yesterday that he wanted to discuss things with HH over lunch.. And so if one is proven Human, the other should quickly follow.

I'm so torn on wanting him dead, but AFAIK he still has 2 games he can play. The double vote will probably claim one of us, and I know he was holding it for late game.

Just so's ya'll are aware of my availability - I should be around-ish for the last 3 hours prior to EOD, then I'll go dark until after lunch on Saturday. Light opportunity to post from the phone throughout the day tomorrow.

Furin will probably have limited availability as well. Cause he has something called a... what'sit? Soshul life?

Furin - I would NOT put anything less than the 3rd vote on anyone. People will be wondering about you HARD. But HH I think will eclipse suspicions. I'm holding off on the other boards as I doubt i'll be coherent/believable. i'm tired. hehe. been a long week. and now this extra work! oy!

I should be around the last 2 -3 hrs before EOD as my daughter chose a different make-up session than the one tomorrow (for the class she'd had cancelled - due to tornado).

But honestly, the weekend itself is spotty for me. at least I'm not currently planning on going in to work this weekend...

Don't have much time left.

Maul - Visigoth --> Rictus is fine by me.

Since we're at an odd number of people now i'm wondering if I should try to block our maul of Visigoth. Thoughts?

I'll try to return by 8pm, an hour before EOD.

OK, I have to admit; I feel a bit skeevy that the humans are just accepting what I said about the 'reassuring gm post'. I actually expected rave or sphenodont to cast some light on it... But honestly I don't think they even noticed that part of that post...

So, effectively it's the same as an Uncaught lie; right?
