What the hell is this?

Rumors on the net are abound with scandal!

??

That PJ - Nightis Darksiders
Meta4 - Newpolis Rogues
Sphenodont - Newpolis Rogues

Hmph. We actually got spies? These are only rumors. Our venerable president Mortus is indicating that he's reading the net and he wants one of those guys on break back.

Today is Revival Day. With one difference.

Mortus has declared one HAS to come back. The "No Revival" option has ceased to be an option. Your choice.

Sphenodont is permanently dead.

Only PJ, Furin, Meta4 or Max can be back. Send me a PM with your revival vote.

This day will end AT 10 PM ET May 26th ( Monday).

That was an incredible meal.

It's not a true meal without dessert, Shawn.

Will you lay off of me about dessert? We shared a pineapple, what would you call that?

A palate cleanser.

That makes no sense. It'd just stick to the straw and make it all gummy.

But hang on...I think I may know how to get a dessert that's just as good as that barbecue. There's a candy and chocolate factory nearby. We'll just sneak in, eat as much as we want, and keep the rest for later!

Shawn and Gus do their Chocolate Dance

There's only one problem. The owner is the guy that runs the security system, and it's state-of-the-art.

So it's impossible to break into. Great, thanks for getting my hopes up for nothing.

No no no! I've already found the solution. All we have to do is send RETRACTED was Okaros on a "vacation..."

...And we'll have the whole place to ourselves!

(( It gives his group a day to maul whomever they want, but I think it's possible to wait one day before lynching Okaros becomes pretty much essential. That's not ideal compared to just doing it now, though.

Unless you're too chicken to find out what happens when all of the wolves die. What would Ravebomb do? ))

Given that we have to send someone to the resurrection ship today, I'd like to discuss the implications of who we send to T.A.H.I.T.I. Given this is historically a closed topic for public discussion, I'm asking our GM. May we speak freely about our intertwined fates? Or must we speak behind closed doors?

So beyond human/wolf, we have faction info on Spheno, PJ, & Meta4. Furin has made interesting points about a different wrinkle which I'll discuss via PM with anyone who asks (saving his pm capability if he needs it).

This is no wishing well keeper.

I'd love to see faction data from the fallen. I won't bring Meta4 back. I can't bring Spheno back. And I don't know faction data on Max and Furin. That puts me in an uncomfortable place, which I find... Uncomfortable.

(( Nixed this prior post after clarification. So apparently Okaros can't die. If Okaros has yet to lose a faction member, we need to lynch members of his team in sequence until he's just left. If we miss a member, we lose. If he's lost a member, we get one free "mislynch."

You really think this is personal? Gus, tell him it's not personal.

Well, it's not really personal per se, it's more like...

Hang on, you actually have a grudge against this guy?

Remember when we first got here? There was a package of delicious curry, curry was supposed to be mine. I went off to use the bathroom, and when I came back my curry was gone. Do you remember what you said, Shawn?

Yeah, I had walked over to talk to somebody for a couple minutes. And I knew that curry was important to you, so I kept an eye on it the whole time. But then it just...vanished.

You mean it was stolen when your back was turned. Food doesn't just disappear, Shawn.

Okay, fine, yes it was stolen. I had a momentary lapse in judgement and walked off for like ten seconds. When I looked back at the table, it was gone. What does all this have to do with him?

When I was walking back from the bathroom, I noticed him skulking around our table. It looked suspicious. I know he stole my curry.

Right now it really doesn't matter because there's bigger things at stake here.

Look, Gus clearly voted for you because he thinks you're some sort of malcontent. I can now sense that this is not the case. Our vote change yesterday was just a little feint so we could send off the Yosemite Sam impersonator before he took out any of our friends. So nothing personal, really.

Oh yes it is.

Relax, Gus, it wasn't him. I'll get you some curry on the way back, okay?

If it wasn't him, then who was it?

I...may have kept the curry for myself and just pretended it was stolen. It'd been a really long day, I was hungry, and it was right there in front of me. It was a moment of weakness, I'm sorry. Where are you going? I said I was sorry!

Why is everybody standing around looking disinterested, anyway?

They don't want to look like they're gunning for the guy that's calling the shots now. They figure they can keep a low profile, and maybe he'll forget they exist.

I don't know why it's up to us to pick out one of his allies to lynch. But that's okay, we're probably on our way out anyway. So we'll just spearhead the vote for RETRACTED was Rictus. There, we got the ball bouncing, now follow the bouncing ball.

It's "get the ball rolling," Shawn.

I've heard it both ways, and this one's better. Nobody follows a rolling ball. It's not going to do anything special; it's just going to go downhill.

Bad news for the Rogues... they lost two members at once. I'd expect them to be looking for revenge. Hellheart is the obvious target, He put the nail in Meta4 and was called out by Sphenodont:
Hellheart, PJ, and Simon are wiretappers and sneaks. Don't trust them, folks.

I think of all people in this game, Sphenodont was the one that was trying to play above board and solve the game-within-the-game. And we see what it got him... a vig in the night.

Another point against Hellheart is that he's playing for the end of game, voting to lynch Okaros. Has he met his game-winning condition? I don't know.

Simple_simon has also been pushing for the end... identifying the wolves and calling for their lynch (I assume he's correct... he's done pretty well so far). That tells me he's a faction who has lost his wolf. Probably early. The other option is that he's a psychopath who won someone's trust early and the wolves were leaked to him. If that's the case, I'd expect him to play a lot more quietly.

I need to go look at the votes, but I'm not getting the vibe that Simon and Hellheart are working together.

I definitely don't like Okaros as king-maker. But unless we bring back Meta4 today I don't see any chance of removing him. I expect him to just keep mauling factions until the end.

For me, I think we should look at the quiet ones... Antipater, Aldax, or twdog. They'd be perfect as pychopaths. Nice and quiet, especially Antipater.

The other option would be 7-zark-7. Hiding in plain sight, and I get the feeling that he was coming to conclusions just a bit too slow... like he doesn't have a team to discuss things with. In this game, that's a liability.
Charming, to the last.
