Yeah, refactoring my speculations in light of newpolis being dead.

I know right?

It is a big scandal in the rumor mill. The article's author did a mathematical model that proves with 99.99 % accuracy that the council behavior is being influenced by 5 groups.

Could it be FurinMirado?
I could see how the "returned" make up the 5th group. Makes sense with the other clues we've been given. But nothing in this game makes sense.

Also, well-played on the oompa-loompa. Is he our target today? Or twdog?

Re: Furin being faction #5:
Hm. Maybe. But with only two revival days in the game I think that's a little iffy. I could possibly see them joining an existing psychopath/one-man fashion in some fashion.

Hellheart's an ideal choice at the moment but we're still in target-of-opportunity mode and likely will be for the rest of the game. It's less about "Who can we murder directly" and more about "How can we split the vote?"

In a few hours I'll post the "Lets count the ways Hellheart has been wrong" list, which should further cement the notion in his mind that he's right about the member list. That might buy us a day of him lynching Blindsniper (I'll probably send Blind a PM encouraging him to vote Hellheart as well, since he's gotta be worried that he's on that list).

Also going to speculate on "What if I want to pretend to be the fifth faction?" over in the lies thread.

Hmm....

20 players to start. We orginally assumed 4 factions of 4, with 4 psychopaths.

So could our nutjob be the 5th faction? He'd have to be super powerful to have some sort of parity with the other 4 factions... so several abilities, plus some sort of conversion ability, tied somehow to the revival mechanic?

From the rules:

Revival Days: On certain days, players will be able to revive a player. There might be unforeseen consequences of reviving a player. Players won't be able to discuss publicly who to revive. It will be done through a Private PM vote. There will be a No Revival option.

So twdog, FM, and maybe somebody else? Who did we bring back originally? Not saying it's that simple, but something to look at for clues.

Things should be interesting as we approach EOD. The PM game grows ever more amusing/dangerous.

I've got some additional info from Furin that i need to plug into my spreadsheets, but I think it's mostly just confirming things I was already guessing (Ryvvn = Newpolis, for example).

Edit: The amusing thing is that Furin's information basically reinforces the notion that Blindsniper = Nightis and that he's working with Hellheart. The whole "Blindsniper is a Sirkrit member" is just complete BS on Hellheart's part. :)

Edit2: Wait, no, that makes no sense. Max is confirmed as a Nightis. Blindsniper put the killing vote on him.
Hmmmmmm. Hellheart/Simon and Blind/Zark? Or Hellheart/Zark and Blind/Simon?

Furin seems to think it's Hellheart/Simon and Blind/Zark for the split, for what it's worth.

Edit3: And there's Furin holding up his end of the revival bargain. In theory. We'll see if that sticks.

Target is either Hellheart or Simon, depending on where other votes land.

Furin and Zark are both acting on instructions/deals with me, but I don't entirely trust them so we'll have to be cautious. I'm out of PMs to ask Furin to move to Simon, but I think he will if I signal appropriately in the thread.

Or Rictus, you could suggest it to him via PM, I think.

Or twdog could give us the helping hand on Hellheart.

Zark promises that both he and his teammate will be voting together at EOD, one way or another. While a bit omnous and not quite what I asked him for, I read that as his being willing/able to switch and bury Hellheart.

Strangely enough, he apologized for voting on Simon and implying that he didn't know if he was a member of Sikrit or not. Curious.

So, Aldax: If you have to do a drive-by vote, go ahead and drop it on Hellheart at this point. It's looking like he's our victim for today.

Also:
Seer: twdog->Simple_Simon->FurinMirado
(they're the three we have left to look at)

Edit:
Rictus currently has a seer vote in for just plain twdog right now. It'd be nice if he added conditionals, though. :)
