Day 11: Quiet Reflection - Wolves Win

It's totally sweet that this cabin sleeps 20+ and has a kegarator.

Day 11: Quiet Reflection - Wolves Win

Postby necklessone » 25 Sep 2014, 18:02:11

“Welp, here we are,” dferrantino says. The remaining students are sitting on the front porch of the cabin, watching stars over the woods. The sky has developed a faint gradient; it’s almost dawn. And almost done.

Blindsniper puts his hands behind his head and his feet up on the railing. “Almost had it figured out, didn’t you?” he asks San. San can only scream and struggle against his restraints. More than Visigoth, Aldax, and Simple_Simon can do, though. They were cut down swiftly from behind when they turned on San. They’re still on the porch, though. Just propped up.

“So what do you think was up with Omega and Rictus?” dferrantino asks as he cracks open another beer. “I mean, they were really the one’s who set this whole thing up with Fred Zarkington. Think they knew?” He reaches behind him, grabs a cold one, and tosses it to Blindsniper.

“Of course they knew.” Blindsniper bites into the can with his fangs, pops the top, and shotguns it. “We really send them a nice fruit basket for making it possible. Think we can just drop it down where the boathouse was?” He laughs, though it’s more of a growl. He slaps San on the back, driving his claws in a little. “Laugh, maggot.”

dferr gestures at the writing San. “Why’d you leave him alive, anyway? Tradition says no survivors. That’s always been the way of the Perpetual Inn cult.” Blind grins wide. “Felt sorry for him. Can you believe they were about to murder him? I figured we’d let him go and tell our story. Add to legend.”

They’re quiet for a bit (well, San squirms and mutter) as the sun rises. Finally, dferrantino stand and fills two cups of beer from the keg. He offers one to Blind and raises his own glass in a toast. “To a hell of a night.”

“To a hell of a night.”

If it wasn't before, it is now. Got it open to all registered users.

Good game, and thanks.

Also, well-played, wolves. Rough start, but you managed to pull it out in the end.

Boom. It's been a long time (if ever) that I've lived to see the end of a game as a wolf.

Good game everyone, and thanks necklessone!

depending on Peter's discharge date and next start up ( ill let GM know) whether im in or not, depends on how much help i need to provide for him, but he is doing better (already walking, and doing his physio better than expected, so we'll see
RaveBomb making a lot of sense is how you know you're past the point of no return and that death is the only escape.

All you had to do to survive was hide behind the bodies of your fellow teammates. :eyebrow:

Excellent game, neckless. Can't wait for the sequel!

Also, that list of the core wolves had me laughing so hard. That was very, very cute.

Great game, Necklessone. Pretty much as close to Vanilla as you can get while still adding in a twist; this definitely lived up to the name.

Thanks for the game.

Also, for some reason, only Fred's Dad's Dentist's Cabin is viewable when not logged in.

A bit belated, but thanks for the game necklessone. Had a good time and even managed to survive until the end.

Well, guess that serves me right for not sticking with some of my reads. Should have just stayed on Blindsniper83 and maybe others would have followed. Though it seemed like once San started getting votes that was it. Not sure if I would have gone after dferrantino or not. He was on my list (like everyone else of course ;) ) and even though on my last day's list I had him and Blindsniper83 higher in the human chart than San and Simple_Simon they could have easily been at the same level or flipped and I would have continued to look at them all equally. But there were a couple of votes and some posts that did make me consider voting on him some previous day.

BTW necklessone, I loved the scene with the stuffed wolf. Beautifully adapted.

Although I wish you had had blind or dferr say at the end, "You know what's funny? Fred's dad doesn't even have a dentist."
