GM Queue thread updated.
Game is still assigned "LXXXVI". We'll assume the continuity error will be addressed in a later issue.

Yeah, sad times. I was just reading Wyrd Sisters a few weeks back, and there are many more I have yet to get to.

Re: F5 - The Refresh Strikes Back
Are we getting a signup thread for the next game? If we're going to be a ~week or so, I'll toss in a filler-vanilla game.
Re: F5 - The Refresh Strikes Back
There is a signup for next game. It will begin in 1.5 weeks. I'll try to not buy Bloodborne.

Re: F5 - The Refresh Strikes Back
I've noticed several people have higher post counts than I do (especially on Ars - still hovering under 1k... I'll probably send out the party favors when ~that~ thread goes live)
But... I have a question for our lovely and talented overlords... Do we have a way of tracking characters or words posted, not just number of posts?
Because I'd be really interested to see tracking when you compare a one-word vote post against my walls of text. (not a vote)
In other news, I should probably get out more

There is a User Word Count mod - but I have no idea what's involved in installing new mods and such.

Re: F5 - The Refresh Strikes Back
That looks like a 2.0x mod. Not sure how compatible it will be.
That said, one of these days, I should update to 3.1... But I think that's going to kill a number of mods installed, and I'm not sure replacements are available yet.
But I will look for an "additional stats" mod for 3.1.

I was kind of hoping there was a "oh, go to this link" stat that I missed. If you're in upgrade mode, I wouldn't mind the extra visibility, but please don't throw any time at this

Might be possible to count in the database directly without too much trouble. If one was into that kind of thing.

Smirker - did I see you mention that you didn't get notified on your role PM? I'm in the same boat (and in fact, had another clarification question get answered via PM, with no email). Anyone else not getting notified on PM? I thought maybe I'd messed something up with the mask account switching, but everything appears ~correct.

For full documentation purposes, I am now affected as well.

Suuure, that sounds plausible.
Although if anyone is XB1 gaming... do they want to play sometime? My normal crew is obsessed with Destiny, and I don't much care for it. I have Evolve and DA:I sitting on my drive and just kinda... sitting there.

Haha. I was just talking to ICB about our mutual distaste for Destiny, yet, that seems to be what our friends are playing.
That said, it is the only MP game I have on XBONE so...
Always interested in firing up the 360 for some ME3 MP though...

Re: F5 - The Refresh Strikes Back
Random thought: I got curious & decided to try to track down my first college roommate. We were in two years of comp sci in high school back when that was the exception to the rule... There were only 7 of us in the second class.
Nice guy, but he wasn't ready to be on his own at college. I've wondered what happened to him since his folks moved all of his stuff our halfway through first semester (he stopped attending classes week 3). Last I had heard from his parents at the end of the semester, he was put on Lithium and was going to try again next year.
Everything in our dorm room smelled of his Mac & Cheese for a couple of weeks after he left since he never left except to buy more. Many of the guys on the wing didn't actually know I had a roommate. He had a full pass to the cafeteria, but only went a couple of times... I stopped bringing back food as he never ate it, and I'd just have to be the one to throw it out later.
That was 1991. No one in my circle of friends who still talk from HS have heard from him since. Wasabi lived with me at one point for a couple of years (2000-2002) and can attest to my ability to drive most people a bit crazy. Wife and daughters seem amazingly well adjusted, but they may just be patient types. Lord knows the wife is.
Anyway, last footprints I can find online are his grandmothers funeral in 2009 where his brother's wife and kids are listed, but no relation is listed for him.
Not quite curious enough to call his folks, but it strongly appears he's still living with them at 42. Kind of puts a few things in perspective, but I feel bad for the guy, & wonder how he is.
I probably should have reached out earlier... Would feel weird to do so now, but I wonder if I could have tried harder to help him be more outgoing back then.

I forgot how awesome weather is in the southeast. I have watched my weather app go from predicting (today) mostly cloudy, to thunderstorms, to sunny to thunderstorms in the matter of 4 hours.

That small plane crash from Monday night was about a mile from my house. I'm kind of sick of hearing about it in the news.
I don't know if I'm a bad person though, because my first instinct is to blame the passengers (and possibly pilot) for drinkytimes.
