Night 5

Postby dferrantino » 25 Feb 2016, 20:55:56

On the one hand, the seer is dead.

On the other, :flail:

I think this is the most bitter-sweet victory lap I'll ever take. Well-seered, Omega. Well-seered. :slow_clap:

I'm half-tempted to publicly betray spheno as the fourth wolf. Do you think anyone would believe me at this point? :eyebrow:

This is why I stopped playing games with seers. I remember now. Won't make that mistake again.

Oh well, time to get the old how many times has Clear been seered as a wolf tracker out and update it.
THERE IS NO JUSTICE, THERE IS JUST CLEARASDAY.

I had a feeling that this was the case. That's why I had 2 posts yesterday that I typed up and then never submitted.

dferr, you could just allow vote-locking and end the day as soon as either all votes or a majority vote is locked in. Should shorten this noticeably without going all the way to "skip forward three days".

(also, you technically forgot the lynch-or-lose warning)

In other news, time to brainstorm who we want squaring off against spheno in the final round.

Gungnir's an obvious choice since he's new.

Maybe Gungnir + San?

Spheno's probably the best judge here. What do you think?

For tonight, how about a side of Maul: rekard?

But then you guys lose the opportunity to hang yourselves.

Sure. I'm just offering a middle-ground alternative between "play the next three days in full" vs. "skip the next three days". :)

We should start thinking about who we leave around with Sphen. Here's where we stand right now:

Okaros - outed
Clearasday - outed
Mister E. Meat - outed
sphenodont - hidden

Three noms from this group:
Visigoth
Gungnir888
blindsniper83
rekard
San

I think we want to leave Gugnir alive and I kind of wish that we hadn't nommed Rave right now since he could be getting some heat. Especially with my calling him out as human. Oh well...

As for the other to leave alive, San is smart but always a wildcard with the other players since he usually doesn't post what he's thinking. Visigoth might be a good choice to leave alive as well since Okaros pushed him so hard that people might think you're playing a con.

Rekard definitely needs to get et but I'm not sure about the other two mauls.

Again, too bad about Rave because Rave, sphen, Gugnir could have been a good final three for us.

Hrm. Maybe I should just pull out *all* the stops here. Drafting a fake "accidental mispost" using what you just posted as a template, MEM. :)

Nah, that's overkill and not needed. Spheno's in great shape and I don't need to mess with it more than I already have.

It's not as bad as it sounds, spheno. Since I won the coinflip all you have to do is mindlessly vote on your fellow wolves. You'll arrive in the final three with the two people of your choosing and just have to convince one of them. Not as awesome as a flawless win for the wolf team, but it's about as ideal as it gets for a solo-win. The townies have *zero* usefulness in the voting record for the next three days.

Oh, I know. It's just the amazing effectiveness of the Mk VII OMEGA SEER.

rekard for the maul is fine, if not expected. It'll frustrate him , esp after asking for more analysis time.

Ironically, rekard forgot to vote too. Just couldn't bear the thought of voting for me, I guess. ;)
